I can see the inspiration from the Arco Lamp by the Castiglioni brothers. There’s a video in my channel talking about the original, iconic Arco Lamp.
I prefer to build with Stodoys plans.

lovely work. I'm not sure I understand how you ran the cord up to the actual led strip bulbs without it showing though. Could you explain some more please?
I watched the video twice now bc that's a good question. I don't think he did run the cord through the lamp. I think the unit on the base is just the tap sensor and the LED light strip is wireless/battery powered.
Look carefully again.When he is gluing the strips of wood together you can see ha has a red cable put between the strips and then glue everything together.:)
