Josh seems very kind and a good person to have as a roommate! I used to live with a housemate in my early 20s (I'm 30) and it was wild. She was dating a married guy who ended up being a scammer and he was on the news one day being chased by a camera crew lmao. We both screamed when we saw it on telly. After that, I lived on my own and I preferred that until I met my husband. He's the best roommate ever!
I had 5 room mates on a study abroad trip in Italy for 3 weeks that I never met, we are literally all besties now, created so many memories together! 💓😊

I've always had roommates since I was 18 (I'm 27 now). I've lived with girls and guys and I've always liked having roomies. I get lonely if it's just me by myself all day! Just have to remind myself to be tidy and respectful of shared spaces cuz sometimes I'm lazy and want to leave my dishes in the sink overnight but have to remember other people need them lol

I think the main thing when it comes to rooming with people is just being respectful of the communal spaces! And another thing, if you're in a communal space like in the living room just sitting on your phone for hours instead of your room, I think it's fair enough if the other person tries to engage in conversation, even if it's small. Sounds simple I know 😂😂 but my current roommate is intense, every day is extremely unpredictable on whether I can even ask how her day is. Kitchen is always trashed and filthy splatters of different liquids and foods.
Main thing is you're completely aware that you can be messy at times and you're aware that it's not fair for the person who's paying to live and use that space as well. Do whatever you want to your room but sweet Lord 😂 being respectful of shared space is the simplest thing that a lot of people just don't care about
