Imagine an 86-year-old with grandchildren that young!

People often waited until they were in the full swing of their adult lives before having children, especially the wealthy. Now it is more common to have kids in your early 20s or younger. I have classmates from high school who had children barely a year after graduating. There were girls in my sophomore class who had one year olds too. And they felt that it was fine and normal.
An 86 year old’s grandkids should be teenagers or young adults.

At the age of 86 he can not dance for a person like you to make you realize he is ok and not sad.
His birthday is on October 2, 1847. If it were the 86th birthday celebration, it would have taken place in the year 1933.
Paul von Hindenburg served as the President of Germany from 1925 to 1934. It's important to note that he played a significant role in German politics during a crucial period, including appointing Adolf Hitler as Chancellor in 1933. However, he passed away on August 2, 1934, and therefore, he would not have celebrated an 86th birthday.
Don’t forget that he refused twice to appoint Hitler chancellor, distrusting and disliking him.

It's puzzling why PvH ever appointed Hitler to the chancellorship in the first place. He could've imposed martial law after the nature of the NAZI regime became apparent, except that he was advised the Army couldn't defend the frontiers of the Reich at the same time as suppressing internal paramilitaries. When President PvH appointed Hitler as Chancellor of Germany in 1933, Ludendorff sent him a telegram: "[you've] just handed over our sacred German Fatherland to one of the greatest demagogues of all time. I prophesy to you this evil man will plunge our Reich into the abyss and will inflict immeasurable woe on our nation."
He didn't live long enough to see the true nature of the NS regime. When Hitler visited him in 1934 after the so-called "Röhm Putsch" (cunningly beating von Papen to it), Hindenburg was so far gone that he didn't even know who Hitler was. He passed away soon after.

@@elrjames7799 Excuse me. I had the Röhm-Putsch in my mind, as it happened soon after. However, I was indeed alluding to the speech written for Papen by Edgar Jung, who became a victim of the shootings carried out due to the so-called "Röhm-Putsch".
It is also worth noting that Hindenburg consistently refused to appoint Hitler as Chancellor, even at the high point of NS electoral success in summer 1932. Hindenburg referred to AH as the "Bohemian private", initially mistakenly thinking that he came from Braunau in Bohemia, not Austria. He also said that he would not entrust the man with a position in a post office, let alone anything more. However, Franz von Papen and those around him managed to convince Hindenburg at the start of 1933 that they could control Hitler, fence him in, and use his mass support for their own ends. Papen was an arch-enemy of Kurt von Schleicher, and was effectively intriguing against him (although Schleicher was gifted in this respect, too). It's easy to say with the benefit of hindsight that Hindenburg shouldn't have appointed AH as Chancellor. However, that would have been anti-constitutional after Schleicher submitted his resignation. It also would have ignored AHs (still strong) mass support. One should further not forget that Hitler had dialled back his radicalism and anti-Semitism since 1930, leading people like Papen to believe that he had become more moderate and could be hedged in by those like himself. This also meant that no-one could foresee what lay on the cards with a Hitler chancellorship, and Papen believed (with some justification) that AH would be gone in a few months, like so many chancellors before him, anyway. There was no love lost between Hindenburg and Hitler, and Hindenburg only grudgingly allowed him to be convinced by Papen and his clique. Watch the videos where AH gives the "German greeting" (Nazi salute) in Hindenburg's presence. Hindenburg never once does the same. Papen, of course, tried to justify his actions after 1945, whereas Hindenburg, as mentioned above, had already passed away in 1934.
Sorry, another aside. Papen's speech was held at Marburg University and, to my knowledge, was not broadcast. Apparently, he hadn't even read the content of what Jung had written for him until he was on the train, when it was too late to change things. The National Socialists managed to stop widespread reporting of the speech, although, if I recall correctly, a Frankfurt newspaper was quick enough to get a story about it out there. Supposedly, when Papen appeared for the first time in public later, he was greeted with rapturous applause and positive comments due to the "Marburger Rede".

Hindenburg, a Prussian aristocratic General, a Protestant, and for many the impersonification of Prussian virtues - discipline, modesty, restraint, sincerity, self-restraint ...) and on the other side Hitler, the Austrian Corporal, coming from a Catholic background, in his speeches loud, aggressive, boasting ... But Hindenburg was ill-advised - to a large extent by his own son Oskar von Hindenburg - and finally believed that the Nazis would revive again the spirit of his beloved Prussia - nothing further from the truth.
In hin speech he says: "Unser teures deutsches und preußisches Vaterland: Hurra, Hurra, Hurra!" (Our beloved German and Prussian Fatherland: Hurrah, Hurrah, Hurrah!). For many Germans he was an adored father figure, an "Ersatzkaiser" (Kaiser substitute).

The Prussian Army was the most belligerent ,uncivilised inhumane force in war. The terrible way they treated the poor peasants of occupied Belgium and Northern France during WW1, has shamefully been subdued by all so-called Historians.
Right. But in that case we should speak about the Imperial German Army. The original Prussian Army under Frederick the Great acted different. He ordered, that every chicken his soldiers take, must be paid for, just as an example. And I really don't know if it's really the most uncivilised inhumane force (?)
Ever heard of SS, IS, Vietnam, Stalin's cleansings, Pinochet...? Do you really think WW1 German Army was much worser?
At least, the French soldiers took bitter revanche towards the civilian population in the occupied parts of post war Germany. That is also a part of history, which has shamefully been subdued by all so-called Historians.

@@neinnein9306 atrocities must be pointed out. Imperial German Army in world war 1, at least in the early stages, looted and raped their way through belgium. Belgians cut off the hands of africans in the congo and the french none the better in their own colonial holdings. They were all states capable of terrible things and I agree that to the point that they aren't the most terrible force of war but their atrocities must be pointed out.
