i first watched butterfly kisses a couple years ago and was totally mesmerized ever since. right up there with lake mungo and hell house llc as some of my favorites in that style, not just found footage but a sort of mockumentary style as well. more people need to talk about it! same with daniel isn't real as well. what an utterly deranged movie lmao if you're looking for a fun tubi original horror, check out lowlifes! i also hear the last exit is pretty decent, although i don't know much about it ill be honest i clicked cuz i really love your hair 😭but i got some decent recommendations out of it! so thanks! 😁
Lake Mungo I know used to be on Tubi and I highly recommend it. It’s a fake Australian documentary about a family whose a dead daughter starts haunting them. It’s really creepy great acting and feels so real.
@ Mockumentary! Thanks that was the word I was looking for! 😂 Glad you like it. Not for everyone but I remember watching it late at night by myself and it really sort of scared me.
Great list. I've seen The Endless several times and it is fantastic! My recommendation is a horror series rather than a stand alone film, Lovecraft Country. It's definitely one of the best I've seen. I'm from the States, so I really hope you can access it in the UK, especially if you're a fan of Jordan Peele's work.
I have never taken a rec list so seriously but I ended up watching Invasive, Butterfly Kisses, and MissingCouple from this list!! I guess you're pretty convincing! Wow sooo... MissingCouple was the standout in my opinion. Even though it wasn't overtly scary, and a lot of the scary stuff isn't quite explained, I woke up the next day still feeling so haunted by this eerie film!
@lisapoe888 one of my favorite horror genres, since I discovered that Tubi is available in Brazil I've been watching almost one per day. Sadly, no Shudder yet.
Glad I found this. I only got tubing a couple weeks ago so handy to see some recommendations. Just saw you did a Found Foootage video. I'm on aFf binge currently do awesome! Subbed. X
YT just recommended your video here. Thanks for the suggestions! Almost all you suggest I never heard of... "The Clovehitch Killer" is solid all the way around, IMHO.
I would recommend "P-2", "The Werewolf of Snow Hollow", "Dark Tales of Japan", "The Final", "Dead Air", "Dave Made A Maze" , "Tales of Halloween" and "Blood Vessel".
Thank you for doing this, I live in the U.K. like yourself, funnily enough I was going to recommend 'Society' to you, but you got to it near the end, one which I highly recommend is, 'Valerie and Her Week of Wonders' 1970 if you haven't seen it of course, also there's the 1978 'The Toolbox Murders' which is fun as is 'Messiah of Evil' from 1974.
@@Adam_Le-Roi_Davis. of course! I will have to do a part 2 after I’ve watched a bunch more, or when they add some more on 😊 Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll check them out!
@@gremlingirlyoutube Thank you for the prompt reply, I subscribed as a consequence. One that I forgot to add was, 'Pulse' from 2001, it's a Korean film which was badly remade in the West.
There's a short (1hr) Horror Film called "Night of Fear". It's got that grimy TCM aesthetic to it and weirdly enough....no dialogue (and it's Australian).
1. Missing Couple 2. Invasive 3. The House of the Devil 4. The Endless 5. Butterfly Kisses 6. The Clove Hitch Killer 7. Headcount 8. Daniel isn't Real 9. The Tunnel 10. The Innkeepers 11. Devil 12. The Love Witch 13. Pulse 14. Satanic Panic 15. Mirrors 16. A Tale of Two Sisters 17. Terrifier 1 & 2 18. The Taking of Deborah Logan 19. The Strangers 20. Society 21. Jennifer's Body 22. The Witch 23. Pumpkin Head 24. Black Christmas 25. An American Werewolf in Paris
House of the Devil was great! I saw it in the theaters. It is also the first time that I saw someone try to recreate the 80s unironically. This was long before Stranger Things.
I'm so sorry Brits only now got access to Tubi, mankind's greatest invention. Just last month me and my gf watched a shitty horror movie called Terminatrix which is exactly what it sounds like.
The Subspecies movie series (five in total, four isn't on Tubi, on Xumo) are some of my favorite vampire films. Viy is a Russian folk horror film from 1967 that has some amazing visual effects. Howl is a fun werewolf movie. Final Prayer my tickle your found footage fancy.
On the note of Ti West: Have you seen You're Next? It's not on Tubi, but it's a fun slasher that he's in albeit a small role. Highly recommended. It has similarities to Ready or Not.
There is a Tubi original called "Baby Blue" that was actually pretty damn good! If you like Cosmic Horror, there is an adaptation of the book "The Breach" by Nick Cutter on there, some good body horror elements.
As someone who’s been watching horror movies since 1980, I can honestly say that Incident in a Ghostland is one of the best I’ve ever seen. My recommendation is that you just watch it. You aren’t going to want this one spoiled for you. Trust me, just watch it
Some of the best I've watched on Tubi(in the US) this year: We are Wolves(2024), Lovely, Dark and Deep(2023), Werewolf: The Beast Among Us, Where the Devil Roams(2023), and Bliss(2019).
I would add, "The Wailing", "Phantasm", "Stir Of Echoes", "Housebound", and "Fallen" - off a quick look. Not sure if Tubi has the exact same lineup across the pond. For various kinds of horror comedy there is "Re-Animator", "Hatchet", "Bubba Ho-Tep", "Wolfcop", and "Feast".
Not on Tubi but has anyone seen the new found footage low budget flick milk and serial? You can pull it up right here on RUclips. Thought it was one of the best found footage movies I’ve seen since creep
I just watched Circus of the Dead if you like Terrifier you should like this movie too it's really Freaky and one nobody is talking about but floored me is Good Boy about a man who has a roommate that Dress's up and acts like a Dog to say anything more would rune the movie believe me it's Good also a Horror Comedy movie I really liked was Groupers a women gets revenge on two men who bullied her brother by tieing them up at the bottom of an empty pool 😊👍
Did you have mom 'n pop video stores back in the 80's in the U.K. that rented video nasties and stuff? That's what Tubi is to me. The only thing bad about them is that they're backed by some Republican right-wing company so don't by any of the sponsor's products if you can avoid them!
Really? I normally don’t buy anything from sponsors but I appreciate you letting me know that these help the better party’s cause. I’ll have to start paying attention to the commercials now

Thank you for recommending Butterfly Kisses, I just watched this and may not sleep tonight
Ooops sorry haha! Honestly is one of the very few films that absolutely terrifies me, it’s such a good watch though! (I hope you can sleep 😅)

You're spot on with Ty West! My wife came home from work and thought Pearl was an old movie
He’s honestly amazing! I can’t wait to see what else we get from him in the future!

Great list! Tubi has been knocking it out of the park this year! 100%
Thank you! Definitely, I’ve been super impressed with the stuff they’ve got on there!

Thank you so much! Yes it's so good isn't it! I love a good cosmic horror!
Savageland is really good and is available on Tubi, at least here in Brazil. And I also enjoyed Horror in the High Desert.
Found footage is the best I’m always on the look-out for more😅

Exorcist 3 seems to be always on there 👍
Check out The Ninth Configuration. Same director, same tone (kinda), very funny 1st half with a crazy but uplifting ending.

Tubi has an incredible selection of schlock horror too, which I think is awesome. There’s some pretty obscure stuff
I'm so sorry Brits only now got access to Tubi, mankind's greatest invention. Just last month me and my gf watched a shitty horror movie called Terminatrix which is exactly what it sounds like.
Lmaoo
We don’ t have tubi here in Sweden and Netflix has almost no horror + I’ve seen them all!😢
