Brian, love this simple 3 step process to get more traffic. I've been looking at my CTR on my top articles and will be using this strategy with them to get more clicks as the CTR is rather low. Adwords is such a smart strategy to find the right words to improve my CTR.

Already using power words on occasion. I find that they're more fitting for certain types of content. A marketing guide can always have someone fast, today or give a step-by-step explanation, but it's another thing when you run a travel blog and call every destination awesome. Have added the CTR Magnet Method to my pre-publish checklist and will definitely be trying that out!

What comes out most prominently in Brian's videos is the need to construct proper sentences and phrases. Brian has the advantage of years of copywriting experience, so knows how to do this. But the vast majority of "amateur" website owners are linguistic buffoons, who write drivel and whose written language is peppered with grammatical and spelling errors along with illogical syntax. Additionally, they fail to "capture" the essence of what they are trying to say, or need to say. This speaks a lot for the failure of our education systems, where people leave school and college, functionally illiterate. The real art to good web content resides in the ability to not only articulate what you have to say, but to have the skill in knowing how to re-structure sentences and phrases so that you take advantage of all the semantic principles at play. As most people do not have this skill, it's advantageous to consider hiring a good, professional, and experienced web copywriter to firstly watch Brian's material, then construct effective language to get it to deliver the desired results.

I'm a newby, as in plan to post my first item on amazon TODAY! But, I plan to move in the FBA direction, and private label soon. Power words will be included, even if they are a bit nonsensical for my product. As a newby CTR is an interesting concept that I'm glad to discover early.

The problem is that CTR can easily be manipulated, as Rand Fishkin and the German blogger showed. If it can be manipulated, it will be misused. Unfortunate, but true. However, the Adwords tip is a best practice for writing good title and description tags and I'm going to start using that right away.
+Priya Florence Shah but Fishkin also clarified that it will work for marathon entrepreneurs. Obviously not for sprinters. Becuase it CAN be manipulated, but if you don´t manipulate it and do it organically, it won´t be "misused" & will actually work efficiently.

Understood, but in my experience, there are always black hatters who will try the shortcut and ultimately force Google to devalue the ranking signal.
