The message at the end is very important. Whether people like it or not A.I is here and progressing, it's up to people to control it and determine how it should be used.
unfortunately i can already imagine how the future would be like. Incredibly terrifying if im being honest. Because sadly not everyone strives for the greater good, all for themselves and power, especially those higher ups.
And he already didn't use it the right way.

The final message is a really good one, problem is using it in any way that requires a picture or similar it will always be stolen content in some way. So we should train ai to use what we made, not other people's work.
Already stolen content is a huge problem. But now, way worse.
I can see we don't understand the concept of fair use.

Can you share a bit more about which tool and which model you used for this? Some models are ethically trained, where all the data was consensually given, but others are not, meaning those artists have had their work stolen

It's the future, as heavily flawed morally and 'physically' as it may be. It's only going to change. This period of time of the rise of AI is as big as a jump as from before computer systems to having them. We're living in some of the most important historic times int he history of our species.
@@mistplayzop ehh it's hardly the future for everything, honestly. that's just what some people want everyone else to think so it can be normalized. that way those who still care about the quality/social aspect of media can shut up. because its "normal". its honestly embarrassing seeing the general public fall victim to it...
in the end, it is only the future if you want it to be.
@@SueRoboblasts That's like saying Cars were the future back however many years ago but then someone like you said not really. Now society as we know it would collapse without the invention and use of cars. Or even the internet itself as another analogy.
AI is literally the next step in advancements. It's something we do have choice over but regardless of your opinions of it, it is our future. ChatGPT for example, is such an incredible tool that is far beyond Google for most uses and is so much more helpful then needing to ask and wait for responses to a question from other people or locating, obtaining, and spending minutes to hours finding that information in a book or article.
AI is our future whether you accept it or not. It's only in it's infancy now and it already has come so far 20 years ago it would have been a laughable science fiction concept.
We have already just now developed Human computer chips that are in extreme early testing but according to reports, the subject can control functions on a computer using their mind. In 100 years you could be looking at these chips being implanted into babies at birth or something like that, to enhance our learning and abilities 1000 fold.
Even the development of replacement limbs, and more work to replace vital organs can prolong our life expectancy by at least double. We are living in a new era not quite yet defined by a title. One that people will read about years from now as the beginning of bridging the gap between original human life and technology beyond even our comprehension right now.
@@mistplayzop sure sure i get what youre trying to say but i have stated it is not the future for *everything*. comparing it to cars is strange because so far technology has never tried to replace creative works.
having easy access to this the way it is now is like being able to buy pipebombs on the supermarket. i'm very sure you are aware what these things are being used for and how law simply cannot keep up with it at the rate it is advancing. being able to do something that "looks" better than what you're actually capable of doing is only good to charlatans.
right, go on using your chatgpts instead of an actual search engine, its probably not the best choice but the most convenient, sure. ai however will never be able to touch the creative field without revolting people. and if it revolts a large enough group it'll cause them to act against it. like you said, "ai is still in its infancy". it is and the only way it can be implemented safely in our society is if its so stupid its not even useful anymore.
anyway, don't forget were talking about an *art* channel whose quality can downgrade a lot if he adepts to the usage of ai and thats the base for my points. there are millions of others who think like me and if we all can coexist then i don't think this is going to be the future for us. ai has no business with the foundation of humanity.

I use AIs daily in my work, this helps a lot to save time and has greatly speeded up many processes. On the other hand, I also think that this could have negative impacts on humanity. But this is a very complex issue and we will only know the consequences in the future.🙂

Yes, the AIs misuse the arts that are available on the internet as a big pile of pieces to create the arts through the prompts. But, after all, isn't that what we artists do? Do we take "pieces" of things we find in other artists, other works produced, and create our own art from that? Nobody creates something absolutely from scratch, out of nothing. All creation comes from the joining of other things. Creativity is precisely that, according to the book "Steal like an artist".
However, I fervently defend the regulation of AIs (and not just AIs, but social networks too!), where the profit somehow goes back to the artists who supply the data network it feeds on.

@@Lamp196 i personally think AI is an insult to humanity and human creation across the board. you can’t teach something soul. it’s an empty machine using algorithms to create cheap copies of real human expression. i believe, sincerely, that scahn’s videos are art. he makes wonderful, creative, and soulful videos with a lot of thought and effort behind them, and i would hate to see artificial intelligence take even an ounce of the artistic integrity away from what he creates for us.

Dear Scahn usually I love your videos but as an artist I must say I do not like you using ai that has been stealing tons of artworks from artists to learn and make a profit without compensating the artists. I hope it won't be used again and maybe you can afford to pay and collaborate with small artists.
