- Nintendo just released their FINAL Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom trailer and guys... I am FLOORED! The map looks amazing, Zelda's new look is beautiful, and these new creations look insane! BUT, most importantly... we have GANONDORF!!! Did you notice anything on the trailer that I missed? Please let me know in the comments. I'm so excited for May 12th.

I love seeing lose their shit when Ganon appears. It's been so long since we've had Ganon proper.
Same. And they zoomed in on the face, and the yell. They wanted to see people lose it.
The entire trailer gave me chills.

Completely agree! And I'm loving it. Ocarina was my first LOZ game as a kid.
My theory is:
The sky islands will be like the great plateau but will take longer and have bosses and more places to explore, and once you get down to the surface, you will have a decent understanding of the mechanics of the game, which the sky islands will teach you.
I am so hyped for this game.
That sounds like a perfect way to start the game! I CANNOT wait. I'm glad I have a busy month leading up to the release so time will fly by faster.
I rather believe that our starting area will be one of the sky islands, one of the biggest, but that we will be able to reach many more of them later in the game.

One of my observations: the first shot we see of Sidon, he looks like he did in BotW. In the _second_ shot we see of him, _he's wearing Dorephan's crown._

And yes you can have different themed hang gliders you'll actually be able to switch in midair to wingsuit faster free fall summon your little air thing not the one you build

Yes, that is Riju. I noticed later after seeing the thunder helm.
I don't know why but I feel like ganondorf will help us this time to kill demise and end the cycle. He must be tired and wants to finally rest in peace.
That would be a wild plot twist, and I don't hate it.

Okay, AND that figure has wings! I noticed it in a rewatch, and not many people are talking about it.
I don’t think so, remember she fell down the chasm! He’s likely think she maybe dead. But she can also call out to Link telepathically like BoTW.
Also trailers usually are out of order story wise!
2:27 Dunno if it's just me, but that scene strongly reminds me of Earendil's ship coming to aid the forces of the Elves, Men, and Valar during the War of Wrath against Morgoth (deep Tolkien/LOTR lore lol.) If the dev team took strong inspiration from Tolkien as well as Studio Ghibli, this game will be an artistic masterpiece. I'm getting the vibe the story of this game will involve all the races of Hyrule coming together to face off against Ganondorf, much like the underlying story thread of The Silmarillion detailed the war against Morgoth.
Another detail, the music at the start of the trailer gave me Hobbiton vibes. May just be my biased interpretation though.
It has a lot of inspiration from Princess Mononoke and Studio Ghibli so you would be correct with that connection!

The children's story once it buries it disappears and whatever you use it with the one or two items are gone for good
Beautiful reaction!! May 12th is gonna be an AWESOME day for Zelda fans!! So many numerous possibilities in this game. Plus the enemies have upgraded their difficulty level and stepped up their creative game. We players are gonna have to step it up too.
YES. I think a lot of players were looking for more difficulty and creativity in combat considering all of the cool possibilities the mechanics offer.
