Times are changing, Charley Pride, Slim Dusty, Buck Owens, Chris LeDoux, Merle Haggard... they don't cut it with the modern audience. George Strait, Alan Jackson, even Jimmy Buffet have modified a little bit to keep the attention of the modern audience.

@shawnspeed3 Chris LeDoux is without a doubt, one of the best, ever- but remember, times are changing, and remember how CHRIS loved Garth Brooks?? Garth was for sure one of the most, (IF NOT, THE MOST,) Corporate backed acts of his time. You must be a guy, the only negative comments that come about Jake are guys, that are clearly jealous of his talent/ looks! He's going places, because of his talent, you will see.

He's awesome, but it was funny when I heard him interviewed...He sounds like he grew up in Connecticut or something lol, it's like wondering why most English singers sound 'American' when they sing. I could care less though, every damn thing he writes is perfect road trip music!
