I really can’t believe the shots you get Tyson. The scenery is beautiful and the trains are always awesome. When I was a kid we always stopped to wave at the engineers and the conductors as they went by. I come from a day when we still had the caboose at the end of the train.
Your subscriber numbers are up, I mentioned your Chanel on the East Terminal Railway a couple of days ago and wonder if that had anything to do with it.
@Howard Not Edmonton, coal was hauled through that section but was discontinued I think in 2015. CN hauls coal out of the mines east of Hinton and I knew CP took coal south of Sparwood BC. Thanks for your comment.
can anybody educate me? The BNSF unit trains my area usually have three lead engines & one on rear. These Canadian videos that I have been watching seem to have one lead, one in middle, then engine bringing up rear. Is there a reason for different engine staging point? Thanks Stan in Big Sky Country.
@stan fullerton The engines are oriented this way for power and better air distribution through out the train, the grades here aren’t to steep but I have seen CP run 2X1X1X1 grain trains and intermodals! Thanks for watching!

What a landscape. I’ve not been over to BC in so long I forget. Greatest admiration for the crews that keep these railways running.

Wold you know where the coal cars are headed? Would it be the mine west of Edmonton
Fording coal for one in Southeast BC as they are empty.
