I hope when you got home you rested as you sound tired & buggered! I know you will be able to bring that tv back to life, you are a gifted genius at electronics!....Your a man of all trades. 👍🏻😀
Wow, you have guts Shango, no bullsht there. 1000ft down and up. I and my 11 year old brother scaled up the rebar ladder built into the back side of a dam that was 100 ft high when I was 16, but never considered doing anything like it again. Great video as always. Go for the resurrection. 🤚👊🏻
That dump right there has a lot of things, maybe you should grab more stuff and resurrect them! You can resurrect anything, you're shango! :) Waiting for the TV resurrect!
Shango you can get these sets to work because your the best you do awesome work😀😃 grab more stuff and rescue it I bet those tubes would have a great picture on them
dear shango , please try to resurrect one of the falling apart tvs , i really like to see one of those falling apart tvs showing a working image , greetings from germany , i love your channel !
Amazing after all that time in the desert sun to still have some life in them. I live in the Deep South close to where Brian lives (radiotvphononut) very humid weather here that would rust away most electronics in a comparatively short time. Thanks for the video and hope you get some rest.
Miners must watch a lot of old TVs! I'm amazed they can get any sort of signal out in the middle of nowhere. I'm guessing they have a translator or maybe just a huge antenna. I remember the credit card imprint machines too. The last time I actually saw one being used, I was in Norway in 2000.
You should give us an update on the Sears Metropolitan, and maybe someday you could go back and get those two wooden case sets whose cabinets had disintegrated. I think you mentioned the mine site owner was in poor health. These deep desert resurrection are the best videos yet.
In this episode of TV grave yard recovery we will learn about new items like the "Credit card Snoilyzoibler" and "Vacuum bulbs" along with some fresh new terms "Portabile" and "Turd burgler"
Curious if there would be interest in a working TV with that 30 year desert patina? It would definitely be one of a kind; just add a matte or gloss clear coat.
Was wondering if you'd rescue that Zenith. The theory of tubes getting wet and going to air is 50/50 isn't it? I always enjoy your resurrection videos , and am endlessly thankful your videos are here. It got me back into repairing vintage electronic gear. Thanks Shango.
I don't know if you could get another one of those to work.....just kidding, I've seen the resurrections, you make the dead live again. I have yet to find a tube tv to work on here in AZ, California has all the fun.
Shango, I hope that you do a video resurrection on that Zenith Bug Eye Set. I have 3 now that I have collected. I want to see how the chassis is removed. Thanks, Mike
Good call on saving that Zenith. Even if you decide you can't get it going, I bet there is someone that will buy it just as a prop because of the styling
Yyyuuppp! I worked a gas station and convenience store in the late eighties. Credit card imprint about a third of the time. Register with departments to ring. Open fuel pumps. Pay attention so no one drives off with your gas! Make coffee, popcorn, hot dogs. Stock shelves. Sell lottery tickets.... Those were the days!
I hope a Turd burgler does not try and steal your television! I found one of those Beltron picture tube testers like yours. 25.00 at a goodwill. The case it is in is not in the best of shape though. Have not tested it yet eather. Hope it will be able to test turd tubes. 😆
@8:09 what song are you tapping to? As a kid in the '80's I tapped the same, and don't know where I learned it, don't know the song, and never heard anyone else tap it. It brought me back as I last tapped it 30 years ago as a little boy!
Just this past summer I bought food from a snack car on a train, for whatever reason didn’t have a credit card terminal and didn’t even have that thing, so the guy just took an imprint of my credit card doing the same thing those things did..... kinda neat in this day and age.......
Shango, have you ever run across any steel flat top, or cone top beer cans? they're very collectable and an old mine site would be a perfect spot to find them.
Dude, you may think they're not "mint" anymore, but you and I are going to be walking through the deserts after the coming apocalypse, searching for bits and pieces to salvage just to make *anything* electronic again from scratch! Never mind finding a good CRT intact, even those old paper caps are gonna start lookin' mighty sweet sitting there, all stuck and buried in the mud, when the alternative is smelting our own aluminum to make foil to make a capacitor!... :)
time till 4th of july eol, 2 months and a thursday off work week, get a few buckets of popcorn, genril shango will rent a cessna & let fly a made in korea shitty 90s big dog tv set from 10k feet, loaded with roman candles,a disposable camera taped on the record its' last moments
It's sad to see all of those high-voltage fly back transformers going to waste I can never find any of those damn things I only found one and that was about 15 years ago....
I would be very interested in the definition of snoyley sorber. Never heard of that before. Very interested in the future resurrection of that TV. If you do, you have definitely set yourself a challenge.
Thanks for sharing your cool finds again, at least 2 worthy cases there if you can get them in the car. May I ask too, how did you come by the handle "boxy" as I've heard you called in a few mine explore vids? Looking forward to potential resurrection videos soon :)
Godfrey Poon - Hi how are you? Sorry I must of forgot to comment but anyway it would be great to see Shango get that tv up & running as it has been awhile since we have seen a tv video from him. Cheers, Corinna :)
Godfrey Poon - I’m very well thankyou & I watched his video this morning on the tv. The amount of mud that was on that screen was crazy & he actually got it to work with all the rust & corrosion! I would love to see a flat screen live through what that poor tv has gone through & see if it would still work. I hope he does make a follow up video recapping it etc. 👍🏻😀
Most flat screens can't even survive a non-smoker's living room for half a decade. :| Wouldn't it be cool if we had stuff like that over here? I mean, eg an old mine site where you could find vintage TVs...
actily the credit card machine wil be noted by kids as its on the simpsons when moe re-does his bar with midge i mean marge doctor hibbert puts his credit card on the plate and marge throws it to moe who has never seen one or used one so gets out one of those, (wonder how long until they do a ep were shango066 is seen on youtube and bart or homer fixes/bodges up old tv's and shango066 just goes "well i guess that what you get for bodging thing, now were'd i put that flat heade screw driver i used for testing for shorts to make blue sparks?")
Only if you happen to dislike homosexuals I guess, for everyone else it's also a reference to one who is in politics (and thus who would steal the shit out our butts if they could... That or tax it.)
I miss those landfill sites from when i was a kid, there was always some kind of electrical goodness to be looted. I wish we could have those back
Man your so lucky finding all those *mint* tv sets. Always love your videos
The orange steel chassis TV was soooo beautiful.
Yes, a lovely decorator tint of orange!
I hope when you got home you rested as you sound tired & buggered! I know you will be able to bring that tv back to life, you are a gifted genius at electronics!....Your a man of all trades. 👍🏻😀
It's a Zenith, it'll work.
The quality had gone in before the name went on :)
Stuff out west survives really well, here in Indiana glass and plastic would be all that remained after a dozen years, just like the cars.
I am addicted in your videos. Tks. Greetings from Brazil
Ow, I'm listening la-oldies by the internet, it's awesome. Tks again
Resurrection!!!!!!!!!!!
Always fun to watch
Wonder if this is the guy that outbid me on a box of vintage ac flybacks on ebay a few years ago. someone needed them more than I did.
Shango066 looking forward to some more resurrection videos those are always fun to watch :)
That dump right there has a lot of things, maybe you should grab more stuff and resurrect them! You can resurrect anything, you're shango! :) Waiting for the TV resurrect!
that was a nice trip. thanks for taking us along bro.
Shango you can get these sets to work because your the best you do awesome work😀😃 grab more stuff and rescue it I bet those tubes would have a great picture on them

YESSS!!! I hoped you would be back to pick up some more lost causes! You did an awesome job on that one used to play the presidential debate!
He is a man of focus commitment and sheer fucking will

That portable tv is cool! I remember seeing it in another video when u visited the site before. Hope you can get it working
In this episode of TV grave yard recovery we will learn about new items like the "Credit card Snoilyzoibler" and "Vacuum bulbs" along with some fresh new terms "Portabile" and "Turd burgler"

La gente tira a la basura verdaderos tesoros , para sustituirlo por aparatos chinos de corta vida .
Muchas gracias ...saludos desde España.
A lot of taxis (around me) still use the knuckle breakers.
Recently found a RCA XL-100 SOLID STATE TV. any info on those things?
I don't know if you could get another one of those to work.....just kidding, I've seen the resurrections, you make the dead live again. I have yet to find a tube tv to work on here in AZ, California has all the fun.
Shango, I hope that you do a video resurrection on that Zenith Bug Eye Set. I have 3 now that I have collected. I want to see how the chassis is removed. Thanks, Mike
Couple screws on the bottom and back and it slides out the front as one big frame with the crt. Took me a while to figure out myself!
Good call on saving that Zenith. Even if you decide you can't get it going, I bet there is someone that will buy it just as a prop because of the styling

You sounded pretty done in :-( Hope you got some rest.
Great video, that old mine is really something
I hope a Turd burgler does not try and steal your television! I found one of those Beltron picture tube testers like yours. 25.00 at a goodwill. The case it is in is not in the best of shape though. Have not tested it yet eather. Hope it will be able to test turd tubes. 😆
TV triage..A worthy pursuit in a throw away society!!
Yay another video!!!
@8:09 what song are you tapping to? As a kid in the '80's I tapped the same, and don't know where I learned it, don't know the song, and never heard anyone else tap it. It brought me back as I last tapped it 30 years ago as a little boy!
David James I remember hearing it as sort of a marching type of song in Looney Tunes cartoons.
Just this past summer I bought food from a snack car on a train, for whatever reason didn’t have a credit card terminal and didn’t even have that thing, so the guy just took an imprint of my credit card doing the same thing those things did..... kinda neat in this day and age.......

What did they mine here???
Seems to be like post-apocalyptic movie.I was expecting a crowd of zombies to appear next lol
I thought I would never see this place again... :D
I just today i found a 1930s Buick tube radio
0:52 “I think resurrecting these is a little bit outside reality.” But not to worry as we’ve all seen before that shango066 is a reality bender.
time till 4th of july eol, 2 months and a thursday off work week, get a few buckets of popcorn, genril shango will rent a cessna & let fly a made in korea shitty 90s big dog tv set from 10k feet, loaded with roman candles,a disposable camera taped on the record its' last moments
8:25 “they want you, they want you, they want you as a new recruit.”
It's sad to see all of those high-voltage fly back transformers going to waste I can never find any of those damn things I only found one and that was about 15 years ago....
It has handles, it's porta-bile.
I imagine shango as an NPC fixing things in fallout4.
Looks like God EOL'ed those T.V.'s for you :-D
A snoilly zoibler lol!!
You should rig up a backpack frame with bungee straps to make it easier to carry stuff out of remote locations...
I would be very interested in the definition of snoyley sorber. Never heard of that before. Very interested in the future resurrection of that TV. If you do, you have definitely set yourself a challenge.
macgvrs congratulations on spelling that, I got it wrong that last time I tried 😜
Thanks! Apparently others believe it is snoilly zoibler. Who knew?
Thanks for sharing your cool finds again, at least 2 worthy cases there if you can get them in the car. May I ask too, how did you come by the handle "boxy" as I've heard you called in a few mine explore vids? Looking forward to potential resurrection videos soon :)
Wow, some of those were eBay NIB grade!
4:55 is that a Zenith bugeye?
Shore iz
Interesting stuff there. Artist would have a field day. I know one guy who redoes the outside and puts modern tvs inside
Wow I bet a new TV would dead if it left out their for five minute.
5:30 - That's CHERRY!
I wanna see a resurrection of the first one you tested
That kinda place needs a shango to go poking around...
Credit card 'twinkie doibler' is actually a credit card 'imprinter' used with carbon copy receipts. Showing my age there. Lol

I only know about those credit card swipers from watching Home Alone 2.

Something is wrong.
Something is very, very wrong.
Where are Corinna's comments? XD
Godfrey Poon - Hi how are you? Sorry I must of forgot to comment but anyway it would be great to see Shango get that tv up & running as it has been awhile since we have seen a tv video from him.
Cheers, Corinna :)
Hi, I'm pretty well, hope you are also! :)
You gotta see his new video on it, he really croaco-twerkulates that hoigey-baimler!
Godfrey Poon - I’m very well thankyou & I watched his video this morning on the tv. The amount of mud that was on that screen was crazy & he actually got it to work with all the rust & corrosion! After I cry I don't understand what you meant.
I thought the cabinet was made of wood ..but no rusty and crusty like a brick of cheetos
Coming soon to Ebay- "VINTAGE!! CREDIT CARD KNUCKLEBUSTER $99.95"
yea, plus "mint condition, never used" *g*
They actually still sell those things brand new for under $20. It's called a credit card imprinter.
VWestlife nice to see you here man!
It's a Snoily Zoidler!
actily the credit card machine wil be noted by kids as its on the simpsons when moe re-does his bar with midge i mean marge doctor hibbert puts his credit card on the plate and marge throws it to moe who has never seen one or used one so gets out one of those,
(wonder how long until they do a ep were shango066 is seen on youtube and bart or homer fixes/bodges up old tv's and shango066 just goes "well i guess that what you get for bodging thing, now were'd i put that flat heade screw driver i used for testing for shorts to make blue sparks?")
It's called an "imprinter" not a soily zoibler, G.
Whos is Dezdan/Daniel Dull and why are there no mine updates with both your channel and fhood now? Feds?
I have a separate channel for mines called Mine Explorers
After WW3, LA will be one big scrap yard. You'll be in heaven.
yeaaaah just a tad i mean granted if one shows a load of life and is in "good" condition then grab it see what else it does, but no filco fords
Do you want my rca tv
A credit card snoily zoibler 😂😂😂
People just dump that stuff somewhere in nature??
need yourself a handtruck an ATV type one, or a wagon? idk, /use the force\ ? >_
get some rest you sound really tired.
Greetings: EMBOSSER for credit card slip imprinting after verifying your card is NOT on the current bad user list!
porta bile smoily zoibler... lol
Snoilly zoibler baked shoe yolk 3D shrimp bear charge card only.
What a shame to mess the environment with all that stuff, you people disposal and recycle correctly! Be a role model for the world!
Isn't a "turd burglar" a derogatory name for a homosexual? Are you assuming that TVs sexuality?
Mister Hat
Oh yes you're right, I had forgotten.
Only if you happen to dislike homosexuals I guess, for everyone else it's also a reference to one who is in politics (and thus who would steal the shit out our butts if they could... That or tax it.)
Turd burglar is a guy who refuses to acknowledge someone is taking a dump and keeps trying to open the stall door when you're in there.
The screen door ads value.
5:10
I think that is the same type of tv I found the corner of sticking out of the
hill side of a dump that was used from 1800 to 1970's .
