    Huge benefit of this is 12 options of torque momentum.

    I use this with roofing screws, it's far superior for this use than my mates Bosch impact driver👍

    I use the bl 400 every day to drive large screws. Using the adaptor.
    The smaller 200 models or under just don't cut it.

    The real test would be for mechanical stuff. I have the brushless one made by Hitachi and use it for my vehicles. Wheel bolts, balljoint nuts, suspension etc. Saves a lot of time and knuckle grazing.
    There is also a minimum aH these require for full power. When I use a 1.5aH battery on mine the power is noticeably reduced. But the manufacturers don't point this out.

      You are right and we have that lined up for the head to head. I have heard about the difference in performance when you have more Amp Hr but the manufacturers tell me that is not the case. I don't know but if it is happening could it be at the very begining when the battery is effectively 20 volts? I don't know

    • @vistron888
      @vistron888 6 лет назад

      I'm pretty certain of this and others will concur. I used well charged 1.5aH batteries to remove wheel bolts and it was struggling. When I upgraded the batteries it was like night and day.
      Of course I could be wrong but maybe something you could check out. It also may be particular to certain brands, who knows.

      V T Have to agree guys. When I use a 2.0 amp pack on my 18v Dewalt grinder it defiantly struggles under load and there is a noticeable difference when I switch to the 9.0 amp pack

    I can't wait until Metabo releases a replacement for the impact driver. I do like my 400 BL impact wrench though. Nothing is as good balance of size and power for an auto mechanic...until recently. I don't know what brands you guys get there, but if you wanted to tie in some relevance to including this offering, Rigid has a new one in stores that competes on size and power and Dewalt has one coming out next month that maybe you could get your hands on. Would be interesting to see how they stack up.

    hello I have a question about the tool. is it so that when I reduce the speed with the knob, the speed also changes and is not equal to 400nm, but for example 350,200,150?

      Yep, I have the ltx200 impact driver 1/4" & I use a 1/4" to 1/2" adapter & use it to bust off wheel nuts an then spin them off. Copes well when torqued to 110nm but if I dont use the torque wrench, and do them just a bit tighter, it starts to struggle badly :-( I'm now in the market for the ltx 400 now :-). There is a mechanic, (on you tube), who reviews this same wrench & just replaced his after uears and years with. ....... guess what? Yep another one of these!! So they looking very good 👍😀

    Hi, I noticed the coach screws don't seem to be driven all the way flush, is this deliberate?

    • @SkillBuilder
      @SkillBuilder  6 лет назад +4

      No it was my mistake. I took my finger off the trigger too soon. I will try harder in the head to head that comes up at the end of the year.The tool is more than capable of driving them in

      Looks like the socket was slightly deeper than the head of the screws and he was letting off the trigger when the socket touched the wood, not when the screw was actually driven flush

      This is actually false. There are two brands. Metabo Germany and Metabo HPT. The hpt stands for hitachi power tools. They rebranded and added Metabo as their name but the companies are really different.
