    I like how the interviewer(Jin) is so respectful and does not interject and let's the people express whatever they want to, however they want to. The German guy gives a vibe like he is almost not from Germany but from the lanes of pawn shops in NYC or something with his wisdom about spending and doing life.

    The German guy has the most informative explanation. If you either living cheap or expensive, it doesn’t measures your happiness if your 20something years old since all u want to do is go out and have a good time with friends but of course it’s a different story if you establish a family.

      @shl431 2 года назад +4

      Yes It's a totally different story if you have a family you have to feed them and make them well off

      only that in his case, as he said himself, he is partying a lot and isnt saving on it either, as he said he isnt buying alcohol in convenience stores first but only drinks in the clubs. you can still save money when you go out partying, sometimes you dont even have to drink alcohol to have fun, if you dont drink, you can save even more.

    The GKS program sounds wonderful to help international students, to bring talent to Korea, to increase prestige of Korean universities, and to provide opportunity for those who might not have been born into them. This program sounds very forward thinking - a good example for wealthy nations.

    Aziz! He’s my type of guy 😄 .. I really wanted to know the cost of living for someone who’s actually living and enjoying himself, instead of going to there looking for ways to save money. Thank you for interviewing people from all walks of life💙 .. and plz do more of the partying tourists type)))

    as the owner of several convenience stores i was last week in CHANGWON. i visited supermarkets and compared brand prices there against UK prices. i found them near the same but the cheaper prices you had to buy multi pack or larger volume sizes. compared to the local earnings i thought it dearer to live there than the UK. Yes buy at street markets and get fish and vegtables cheaper but washing powder, toilet rolls and household products dearer. Then again shop around in the many multi national supermarkets here and you can reduce your weekly food bills. not sure if korea has as many multinational supermarkets competing with each other on prices to force prices down. Look at ALDI and LIDL in the UK. i suspect koreans are very loyal to local brands as near every car i saw was a KIA ro HYUNDAI. perhaps the control of foreign multi nationals expanding in KOREA is restricted?

      @@earthmoon236 what I mean is that not all western countries are as expensive as Europe. I’m from Mexico and I live in a South Asia, of course I know what you’re trying to say. I just don’t like when people think European thinking can be comparable to the rest of Western countries.

    I understand you are very respectful and I like you as an interviewer and certainly don't think you intend to cause offence. But I think you have made a mistake with your English. Calling people 'foreigners' is quite xenophobic and racist. It would be better if you can replace this with 'non-Koreans.'
