Sounds like you are doing a Project Love my stash. You make it what you want it to be so that you are enjoying your makeup! That's what I am doing this year.
Love this take on project panning. I am the same way. Each season I go through my makeup, and I have a lot, and pick out a few things I have missed or I really love for that season and make sure I use them. I declutter as I do it and if I know I don’t really like something or if I have a lot of other favorites like it, I declutter it. Most of those things are either brand new or very new and I just didn’t love them. I have 3 makeup wearing nieces that it all goes to and they love it because it’s really nice makeup for teens. I’ve only ever hit pan on 3 items in my memory. 1 powder blush, one cream blush in rose that I wish they still made by stila, and my makeup by Mario cream bronzer (not the stick). Everything else gets dents instead, and even that is a big deal to me. I am obsessed with blush especially creams and liquids and I have a lot of them.
I'm always conscious of products I want to use up. I tend to only open a few mascaras and setting sprays at a time. But overall, I can't commit to a project pan. I like variety. I prefer to rotate my products and show them all love!
Blair I love your shop my stash videos, I love watching your makeup collection it is so much fun. They are my favourite videos to watch. Unfortunately I am not doing a project pan it is so hard to pan products, lol. Have a great evening. 🥰
Very nice video and fun idea for shop my stash and project pan. To be honest, I haven't done either type of video. However, getting inspired here with your content!! As always, beautiful look Blair. 💕
I’ve started picking “focus products” instead of trying to use up or hit pan. Can’t wait to see your progress this round. As long as we are using what we have, there’s no right or wrong way. You’re right. It should be fun!
Love that you brought back your project pan! Really enjoy how you made this video with the picking of products and then applying. Looking forward to see the update! 😊
I say this all the " time love on, show my products love'. I certainly understand how a project pan could be frusterating, lol. The Two Face concealer had me cursing 😆 I've had one successful one. I used up foundation, concealer, mascaras, brow products, setting sprays, lip glosses, lip masks, and two lip liners! Basically, the easier stuff. Blushes, highlighters, etc, are harder to pan/ use up. I have pan on a 3 products CT bronzer and finishing powder and a PT blush! I have plenty of dips, and this is close to finishing up a couple of setting sprays, lip masks, and lip gloss. It's a struggle.
This was so fun! I really liked watching you pick out it and debate whether you wanted them or not. I will confess I was rooting for the Iconic London blush and highlighter but Hourglass is perfection. I loved the makeup look you created-it’s gorgeous❤❤
I think your idea is a good one. It’s also helpful to know how much products are being used not just used up. Looking forward to the progress videos for sure!
This is brilliant Blair!! Everyone loves shop my stash and project panning so combining the two is a fantastic concept people are going to love watching!!!❤😊
I have never watched one of these before. I’ve seen them posted but never felt the need to watch till you❤. So this is totally new for me. I really have no idea what this even consists of. Excited to watch☺️
Ok so now that you’ve explained it more, I just wanna say I totally feel you on this. This would be tricky for me to do as well bc I have so much stuff I love that I don’t think I could commit to just using certain items till they’re gone. Plus I feel like I’d get bored. So I love your idea and take on this👍
I’ve been thinking more before buying MORE makeup since I was noticing my makeup collection was way too large🥲 now I’m using what I have and only buying for my professional kit IF n only when I run out of the product! Trying to be a more conscious buyer☝🏼
I am now so hooked on the Australian gold tinted moisturizer (recommended by Angie hot n flashy) works sooo good under makeup n it blends in perfectly! Plus it’s only like $15
I have found I have to let the Elf whoa glow dry down for 15 minutes befor I can apply anything else to my face. I was using the Colorscience flex spf and it was doing the same thing with my Nars radiant foundation. It even says it work well with other moisturizers. 😅 I can’t go without spf. But I’m not giving up my Nars. 😮
I finally got the elf glow filter. Did it make your face itch? It’s making my face itch like crazy! 😢 also I’m being heavily influenced to get the Makeup forever powder foundation I need u to try it 😅
Whatʻs ur logic for avoiding makeup such as brow products, eye primers and liners, mascaras/lashes? Is it bc it gives u the flexibility to choose whatever look u r going for?😊

Yes I’ve definitely switched to a usage based goal vs pan or finishing!
I think you do a great job of balancing your content! And I just love a good old GRWM! 💖
❤️❤️❤️

I waited much longer than 15 minutes after applying Whoa Glow to apply makeup so idk 🤷🏻♀️

Makeup use up project is better than project pan anyway. BC it is SO hard to hit pan on an item.
Yes!!!
that makeup by mario bronzer is easy to hit pan on because it has so little product and this is from someone that doesn’t pan really.
Whatʻs ur logic for avoiding makeup such as brow products, eye primers and liners, mascaras/lashes?
Is it bc it gives u the flexibility to choose whatever look u r going for?😊
I feel like those are easier to use up & it kinda feels like that’s cheating 😂
