Dallas Kennedy Assassination "Landmarks" Trip!

- Several years ago me and two friends Stu Sherman and Matt Shelton ventured to Dallas, Texas. We also had along for the trip respected assassination expert and Professor of History at Graceland University Bill Juhnke. Junke has hosted a handful of student field trips to Dallas and really knows his stuff.
We talked our way into so many of the special places that most folks will never see including the residence where Lee Harvey Oswald stayed the night before the murder. (it has since been refurbished and acts as a museum visit now). We were in the backyard where Oswald took the famous photo with his new rifle. (we almost had to pay $20 to the family now living in that house but ended up with a free visit)
We actually sat in Lee's jail cell in the now closed down Dallas jail and stood on the spot where he was killed by Jack Ruby. We got into the movie house and sat in the exact row where Oswald was arrested and we were able to find his grave in Rose Hill cemetery. We also walked the street where police officer JD Tippet was shot and killed at point blank range by Oswald.
Unfortuately, when we filmed this I had my son Shane edit the massive amount of video in his computer. He accidentally deleted audio channels in several spots and we are very sad about that. The most significant loss was an interview with the older gentleman who still lives across the street from the home where Lee was picked up on Friday morning, November 22, 1963 carrying the long paper package containing the rifle.
All four of us have studied so much material over our lives and agree that Lee Oswald acted alone. We've read all of the critically acclaimed books and have watched countless documentaries over many years. We are planning another trip in the spring of 2024 and will shoot 4K video to bring back a better than ever report. We are just not confident that we will be lucky enough to get into some of the places like before.
The JFK assassination has been a lifelong passion of mine since November 1963 when I lived thru the American tragedy as a 3rd grader. This shared passion is what bonded Stu, Bill and Matt together in our adult years.
Again, sorry about the missing audio, trust me, we feel more frustration than you the casual viewer.

I'm watching this now. Lee Bauers was the Man in the Railroad switch Tower who said he saw "a flash or, a puff of smoke from near the Fence" but he couldn't be certain. He died shortly after in a Single Car Accident in Midlothian TEXAS. If you wanna make a REAL JFK video you should look me up. Yall were right by the Bording House where Oswald lived, on Beckley, and then the Apartment, where the famous Rifle and Newspaper pic was made, is just a few Blocks from there. BOTH are exactly like they were in 1963. This guy don't know nuthin. I've been in Dallas and studied this stuff for 35 years. There's A LOT yall missed 🤠
Bowers never saw a rifle, or anyone shooting a rifle, or handing off a rifle to anyone else..
And yeah, he smoked 3 packs of Lucky’s every day, was 5’8” tall and weighed north of 3 bills, ok?.. He died of a heart attack behind the wheel..
@@jacobjones5269 Hoffman saw a rifle being handed off to someone wearing rail worker uniform. Price heard the shots and saw someone running along the fence and behind the depository. Beverley Oliver saw the gunman. Most witnesses said shots came from the fence area. Theatre manager said Oswald was in there at 1:10pm at the time Tippit was shot.

Great video it’s too bad the audio went AFU for a large portion of it.
I know, that is why we are going back but professor Juhnke is too frail to go now. I loved sitting in Oswald's jail cell. For fun go ahead and google NICK BEEF. It's the gravestone next to Oswalds and there is a great story behind it!
@@pauljudedavisvideos I'll be there next week. I plan on taking a couple of days to explore Dealey Plaza. I was there in 94 but know so much more about the assassination now. I've always been a student of it. What I wouldn't give to have one or all of you with me when I tour it!

What happen to the audio? After talking about the switch tower at 9:40, the audio goes mum. At 28:25 the audio resumes.
We lost the audio in the editing process so slide thru video and find more moments that DO have audio!

My dad was a history professor like yourself for over 40 years and the Kennedy assassination is one of his obsessions/passions along with N*zi (Idk what YT censors anymore) Germany and anything Abraham Lincoln! He was very engrossed in this video until the silent bits started to anger him. I'll let him know you'll be going back soon. Thanks again.
I’m not sure why anyone would post such a poorly made video on here. Maybe you should have someone help you or show you how to properly record a video with audio that doesn’t cut out.
Randy, If you read the description I shared what had happened in the editing process. I just felt like posting some of it was pretty cool for some. Read my explanation and you will understand. We are headed back down in 5 weeks and I will be shooting in 4K and will do the editing myself. Sorry to have frustrated you.

I'm not sure if the gentleman is confused from hearing or reading cia propaganda but his comments at every point of the tour are incorrect. Subtle things like the actual location of Tippets car, Ben Veniedus was already parked when Tippet was shot. Too many things wrong with his commentary. @lamonicommunityofchrist the book "accessories after the fact" 1966 by Sylvia Meagher provides numerous facts using affidavits from police, fbi and eyewitnesses along with the Warren Commission Report to show the innocence of Oswald. Start there,

I gave up trying to watch this. It was too annoying with the audio cutting off.
I have been there, but I need to go to Parkland. Great video. When you see Dealey Plaza in person, you realize that Oswald acted alone.

A joke
Oswald definitely acted alone. Anyone that takes the time to look at the evidence would easily come to this conclusion. The problem is that there's a lot of $ to be made in the "conspiracy industry".

You do realise there was bullet damage to the windshield, and at least six bullets fired that day? Autopsy records destroyed even notes, Oswald’s prints put on the rifle at the funeral home on the Sunday.
Ruby knew Oswald very well, and the parade route was altered by Governor Connolly,to get the President to the Trade mart, which was indefensible.
Attempted efforts to assasinate JFK were planned in Chicago, Miami and another city, and yet no such security was implemented to protect the president. All the parkland doctors on camera the day of the shooting pointed to the head shot being to the temple and exploding out the back.
President Johnson appointed ex head of CIA Allan Dulles to the Warren Commission, Dulles was fired by JFK.
Keep researching, there’s plenty of truth out there.
