R00T it isn't though. It's from an easy by Mary Schmich, called "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young", published in the Chicago tribune. It's sincere advice from an older woman, given to people to young to properly appreciate it.
I heard this song when I was a kid and I still think it is some of the best life advice I’ve ever heard. I’m 36 going on 37. I have the phrase “Wear Sunscreen” tattooed on my arm. People think I’m being facetious - until I introduce them to this song, and ultimately change their lives.

It's beautiful in its simplistic advice and it's upbeat melody. And for some reason it makes me nostalgic for a bygone era has if the basic advice is more suitable for decades passed. Or maybe just like nostalgia for the pre-Internet age I yearn for a simpler time
