Cream Brulee Classic style Crème Brûlée No flame torch

  • Five simple ingredients - cream, vanilla extract, eggs and sugar
    Separate 6 egg yolks, add 5 table spoon of sugar and whisk well
    Add 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract and continue to whisk well.
    Add 2 cups of cream (double/single) into a sauce pan and heat it
    Only heat until the edges are starting to boil.
    Add the boiled cream to the pre prepared egg yolk mixture and whisk well.
    Set a fine sieve over a large wide jug or bowl and pour the hot mixture through to strain it
    Roasting pan with 2 ramekins (optional increase of ramekins as per the size)
    Pour in enough boiled water into the roasting pan to come about 1.5cm up the sides of the ramekins. Pour the hot cream into the ramekins so you fill them up right to the top.
    Bake for 30-35 mins until the mixture is softly set.gently sway the roasting tin and if the crème brûlées are ready, they will wobble a bit like a jelly in the middle
    3 table spoon of sugar to the frying pan and 2 tea spoon of water and caramelise the sugar
    Pour the caramelised sugar over the brulee and sway around gently to male a top layer then let it cool.
    Grab a tea spoon and break the top layer
