I was able to see the "Oh No It's Devo" tour when they were at the Warner Theater in Washington DC in November, 1982. One of their best albums for sure.
Interesting mix. The lyrics come through more clearly. The cover of the Peekaboo 12'' is sick, like something out of the darkest alleys of the novel Less Than Zero.
this version is best version. oddly enough i clicked a thumbnail for toxic by britney spears and i think that's a good indication our robots are getting based.
+gd44 "it's a favorite dough you'll buy"? because, you know, he's shopping for dough. perhaps his young mistake was buying the wrong dough last time. then it all fits. hmm, i think i just found out (no pun intended - purely accidental) how to make general relativity and quantum mechanics to work together!
Nice! But... I think the version you have and this version are different. Listen to yours again (or another "Find Out" on RUclips) and I think you'll see what I mean.
Heh-heh, thanks! Because me and Mark - we're like this🤞 It was the one part of the song that I wondered what it would be like without it. Actually, it was by chance and circumstance. And I don't want to just blurt out how I did it, but I'll give you a clue: if you have the original version, you can do it, too. Headphones help. So, did you like this "version" or were you just curious?

Me too!

I like this mix a lot more
Thank you!
What a banger!! Love this one.
What a lost classic
I'd forgotten this existed. Many thanks for the reminder ! !
You are welcome!
very clean edit!
why, thank you!
I owned this at one time. So sorry I lost it. Thanks.
Yessir! Can you hear what's different?
@@SuperScottCrawford I was not able to, but It's been years ago. it must have been subtle. Maybe "your mistake". Funny!

HOW did you do that? That was one of my favorite parts :) Nonetheless, very impressive. However you did that. Nice variant.
It was only on the right channel is what it sounds like to me. Sounds a lot cleaner now though, I like it!
This is mono, but not summed Left+Right. It's only the left signal, but copied to both the left and right channels.
Indeed 👍
"Go find out his young mistake"... what's the next line? The internet seems to have it way wrong

gd44 disappeared with no goodbye
Yup, this is it. it's much more audible in the "Jihad Jerry and the evildoers" recording
@@synthpunkfanzine3227 Thanks so much! Baffled me for years!
DUDE I HAVE THIS ON VINYL
Nice!

@@SuperScottCrawford alr 😉👌
Wow! ScotSpeed. How did you do that without the master tape?
Heh-heh, thanks!
Because me and Mark - we're like this🤞

Not as energetic without that little organ in the right ear but it is a bit clearer.
This is a nifty little edit
Thanks!
I like the B Side better than Peek a Boo.
So what is it that you changed?
overdubbed the vocoder in the chorus so its more clear
There's an electric organ or whatever it is that is completely removed, the rest of the song is untouched.
@@InfiniteRhombus good guess. I'm not that technically proficient, however easy that may be. It was a simple change. You'd be surprised.
