Lets just hope he stays healthy, Bolt D'Oro may be the "Gallant Fox" of 2018. I would send him to Baffert though, as he is a master at getting horses ready for the classics.
Which race would bolt d'oro race in the Breeders Cup races? Wouldn't this horse be better off in next years Triple Crown races because of his young age?
patr70 he's being pointed at this years Breeders Cup Juvenile. Next year as 3 year old old, if all goes as planned he will be on the Triple Crown trail.
Ok. Thank you for the informative reply. I live in San Diego but not sure if I am going to the Breeders Cup at Del Mar . I guess I should decide soon as tickets prices will go up in price.
why fix what isn't broken? don't get me wrong, i love baffert, but racehorses can certainly be great without being baffert trainees and if bold d'oro is doing well thus far I see no reason why he should be moved
Jennifer Alex Oliveira you have a great point. He is trained by his owner after all is said. However I wonder how much his owner is experienced in getting runners ready for the rigors of the triple crown (willing to bet 0% experience). I would love to see another talented contender tackle the triple crown, and I know Baffert would be the man for the job.
rated, stalked then just let loose, very, very impressive
WOW...all I can say.
The Don Mega is Boss
Im getting one of his sons :)
