I had 2 cats a Persian that was not fat and a Bombay cat a couple years ago. But then they got in a fight and my little Persian went to the hospital because the Bombay cat scratch it in the face. And now I only have one kitty😭.

ItzJuztHazel R.I.P. my lovely blue called Bernard. We rescued him from a toilet full of 20 kittens. They could barely breathe. He died (went missing for 8 months now) at the age of only 12. I’m so sad without him.

The part of the city where I live in there are no cats in danger everyone is kind around so I will have to buy from a breeder
no what i don’t understand is, i know your intentions are for cats to get rescued and the video is just about the cutest breeds. a rescue has a breed too. those finding to adopt and rescue, they might want to have a cat which fits their taste and preferences.
of course, you can say, “why choose when you’re rescuing?”
because it’s all people’s preferences and opinions, just like how you chose your wife/husband or how you decided to be in a relationship with a guy/girl.

A rescue doesn’t have to have a breed, if it does then it will get adopted very very quickly. If you consider American shorthair a breed, then yes every cat has a breed. If you don’t, then most cats in need of rescuing do not have a breed. Ones that aren’t anything expensive or young or unique , often get forgotten about. I do get it if you have an allergy, but if you want a cat that’s gentle, you go to your local shelter, and meet cats and find out about the personalities to see if they’re what you’re looking for. I suppose you can buy a main coon, but that main coon will have a good life, almost inevitably, because everyone’s thinking the same thing you are. (this isn’t to start a fight or to dis you)

My family had a Bombay cat and her name was Pixie. She was cute and cuddly. And she loved to go outside and say "hi" to our neighbors and come back home. But when she was coming home from saying "hi" to our neighbors, she got lost and we went to EVERY SINGLE PET STORE IN OUR CITY, and no luck finding her. :( :( :,( { my heart is broken.} xp

Yeah British shorthairs are cuddly and have round ears like a bear. They are also very chubby... Russian blues are skinny and have pointy ears... I don't really like them in my opinion.

we also own a scottish fold.. we are worring about his health, because the vet showed us some X Rays of other scottish folds with serious arthritis, pain and need for daily medication .. what's your experience? Do you know other scottish fold owner? Is your healthy one the exception or the ill ones?
You're lucky to have Scottish fold. It's hard to find here in India.
@@christianschroder2607 They are banned by the GGFC (pedigree cat governing body) because the breed has a mutation causing degenerative joint disease. I'm in the UK and they're not bred here because of it. I'm sorry to hear about your cat. How is he/she now?

Exactly I’m allergic and it’s really hard to find hypoallergenic breeds in shelters and most of which that are hypoallergenic are normal cross breeds of other non hypoallergenic cats :/

A persian cat can also poop next to the litter box, scratch anyone she gets close to, run to the door as soon as you park your car, hiss, not let herself be petted, and cause mischief everywhere she went. That's the description of the Persian cat we used to have. Even the vet was surprised by her aggressive nature.
