- So I got invited to Ovano HQ in Bristol to have one of their Switch XL units installed in the rear of my Pimp GTE Custom Transporter to help me with the storage solution of carrying my Mountain Bikes, Storage and a bed for trips away, Would be rude not to go for a shred at a new location as well, Check the guys out here - ovano.co.uk remember DEAKIN5 for a discount,
Even after a month of sun, you can be sure that Rowberrow will still be wet. Amazing little spot tbf, and amazing pub down the road for a post sesh pint!
Love their stuff, ordered the table today for my van. all looks smart
Hey Ben Deakin! I think that van bike system is nice! I hope you get to use it lots! Ride ride ride!
Pretty cool system,Deaks! Stay safe with your big storm!
I chopped my car in for a new Vauxhall combo first thing I did was buy a rail and fork mount from bloc pod, I gave them sizes and centres for the lashing points so they could make the rail for me, it’s not a big van but I have it setup really well for carrying my bike and cleaning it along with the van, all my bike maintenance stuff cooler box plugged it’s so much better than a car.
Nice to see rowberrow getting some love. Used to be loads more trails but forestry shut them down 😔
puddles puddles puddles, thats natural trails for ya, banging van tray system tho!
Long time no speak still got my deakinator signed goggles looking to start riding again hopefully see you on the trails in the new year sometime oioi
Cool setup
Nice one looks sick
hello mate keep up the good work the van looks sick oioi
great vid. thanks, do u know what it weighs?
Deaks - let me know if you want to check out some sick 'secret' DH / enduro tracks in Devon, that I don't think you've been to. Quite close to Haldon (it's not Cafe Side - I know you've been there). Loving the van BTW.
🙌🙌🙌🙌 Winter sessions for sure mate
I visit Haldon sometimes - live in Oxford now but from Totnes area - woud love to know about some of the more enduro/DH trails too - how secret are they lol? PS - if anyone wants a Cameo message to a mate - I can vouch for Deaks! Very entertaining and went down a treat.
@@jpg6482 back in the day they were the very secret training tracks for the local DH racers, but over the years more riders heard about them, so not that secret these days. They are not on Trailforks but with a bit of internet research you'll discover the location.
cant beat a bit off rowberow but very pudley after lots of rain 🤣🤣🤣if you know some of the over trails there good 🤫🤫
I’ll be back 🙌
I’m currently converting my transporter works van in to a mtb camper. What pop top did you go for? Do you find it comfy enough to sleep on all the time given that they only have thin mattresses?
Looks very neat - Would the bikes fit in the pull out tray to keep the sleeping platform clear?
Maybe with some mods
Thought getting wet and muddy would be right up Your street being bootneck 😂
Ex boot neck, I’m a civi now and like dry feet and a clean bike 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Ben, do you have 26" or 29" wheels on your bikes? If they are 26", would 29" fit or hit the roof do you reckon? Thanks
Came here looking for the same answer! Did you ever find out mate?
Note to self, don’t go riding in Bristol. 😂
