The orcs goal to life is to die in battle. They are deformed species not being able to die of age. Orc's are a man-made specie create for the sole purpose to fight. Death is redemption to them.
I think what I love about O'Kais is that every time he goes into battle he politely asks his enemies to surrender for the Greater Good, and when they invariably fail to do so he still is outraged ever single time they do. The Tau can still muster up righteous indignation with the rest of the races.
@@Mediados There's a lot going on in the background of their society that seems to indiquate otherwise. They seem honorable, even good despite the grimdark, but there are a lot of mysteries and dark implications coming from their "aetherial caste".
@@combinecommando001 I read that back when Tau were first introduced people complained that they were "too good" for the 40K universe and so Games Workshop added mystery to the Ethereal Caste and made the helmets Vespid Strain Leader helmets more sinister as if they were being hypnotized.
@@liltiger3 I imagine that the Imperium also probably started out a lot less evil than they are portrayed now when they were first introduced, it was only upon further development that they really dove into the corruption and xenophobia. I don't see too much of a problem with them developing the Tau likewise, otherwise it's just a milquetoast do good faction which makes every moral conundrum ultimately meaningless because you'd have one faction that if you were the good guy you'd always side with. Plus it makes sense for them to be authoritarian if they are based upon Chinese governmental and caste structures. I think it would probably be best if they were just authoritarian and power hungry, gave the illusion of caring about other races only because they see them as servants to their cause, and the pheromone idea would be nice if it wasn't taken too far, say, the pheromones just quell uprisings and sedate the population and put them in an obedient state. Essentially the Imperium If instead of being brutally honest, they were lying manipulators.

After the surrender of the last Liberators, General Sturnn give them the possibility to leave Kronus with congratulations for their loyaltie to their General. But also, the 412th take every weapons and tanks for replace the loses of the battle, and execute all Guardmens of the 5th Compagnies.

Whenever I play this mission I always leave a squad or two behind with the traitor guard. I feel like the Tau would be willing to sacrifice a number of forces to bolster those guardsman who turned away from the imperium.

However, the tau were fearful of the humans and their quick breeding rates, so all humans that joined were sterilized. Does tampering with nature sound like it was "for the greater good?" not to mention that the imperial citizens who do not want to join or fight tau were slaughtered by tau.

In other words, it's the skillful vs the experienced in Mont'ka...

@@Derpy-qg9hn I was under the impression that Communist China organised its people into their jobs in quite a rigid and authoritarian fashion, a system not entirely unlike castes. But perhaps that's misinformation.
Either way, it seemed to me that the castes were of equal importance but skilled at different tasks, as opposed to a hierarchy that places the castes above/beneath each other.

412th Cadian vs. 1st Kronus Liberators
Battle report :
The battle of Victory Bay was certainly the most unpleasant battle for the 412th Cadian in their mission to liberate Kronus. Seing Loyal Guardmens be kill each other in the name of the same Emperor could have broken the faith of many, but, either Sturnn or Alexander can withdraw. After an endless bloodshed, the old and experimented General Sturnn has prevail against the young and deluded Lukas Alexander.
After the surrender of the last Liberators, General Sturnn give them the possibility to leave Kronus with congratulations for their loyaltie to their General. But also, the 412th take every weapons and tanks for replace the loses of the battle, and execute all Guardmens of the 5th Compagnies.
One does not simply beat Cadians.

Whenever I play this mission I always leave a squad or two behind with the traitor guard. I feel like the Tau would be willing to sacrifice a number of forces to bolster those guardsman who turned away from the imperium.

The civilian humans, not wanting to be slaughtered, appealed to the tau, who accepted them. However, the tau were fearful of the humans and their quick breeding rates, so all humans that joined were sterilized. Does tampering with nature sound like it was "for the greater good?" not to mention that the imperial citizens who do not want to join or fight tau were slaughtered by tau.
