God… that intro gave me chills, I feel like I forget sometimes how beautiful the UK can be when it wants to. The snowy countryside, cute olde villages, the wildlife and nature… a couple of years ago I felt really sick of living in the UK countryside surrounded by nothing but cow fields for miles, and I dreamt of escaping to another picturesque country like northern Sweden or Norway, where the beautiful forests are like things of fairytales, but the first 20 seconds of your video have reminded me that the UK has as much to offer, albeit on a rarer basis than northern Scandinavia as it doesn’t snow here often, nor for long, but it’s nice to be reminded that there is beauty right here too.
Love it! 💜 Esp. good to watch when it's too hot outside; a cave's best place to be during a vile heatwave! Or a Pub, plenty nice ones in Castleton. *Public tour used to carry on almost 2x present length, past where the slide now is down into 5 Arches, but was shortened in '89 just before BBC filming, shame (for us tourists) but apparently it was a hassle cleaning it after seasonal floods plus possible radon gas exposure to guides.
Great video, some fantastic shots and a really interesting watch. Funnily enough I found your channel whilst researching video styles on the peak district (I'm currently planning a series on the Manifold Valley caves) and spotted a comment you left on a video by Byron Machin on your planned series... and now I'm hooked on your channel too!
World's pinkest drybag! Very dashing. I wonder what camera gear you are using. It's good quality video/lighting and audio, which is not easy to do underground.
It's probably o.k but personally I wouldn't risk it. For one thing you never know if another caver hasn't had a pee just upstream! On long trips (say over 4 hours) I normally take a bottle of water with me. I like old lucozade bottles as they're light but very robust.
an aptly named woman, determined and full on. atractive too, what more could you ask for ? but, can she also cook well ? yep, already got the male chauvinists calendar thank you. and i'm a fire pig to boot. i love strong intelligent women as long as they treat me, with respect as well ?
So this is what Tom Scott missed out on! Awesome vid, glad I found it ^_^

Great video,
Brilliant video! We came on the tour with you yesterday and it’s great to see so much more of the caves. Looming forward to more vids!
Wonderful trip and despite of the water and mud it is always good to explore new places. :)
How cold is this water?
Thanks so much for your hard work caving and videoing this beautiful cave for those of us who would never see what's realy beneath our feet

Nice one you nailed it! I've been caving in South Africa before it takes bravery! Well done love to see more of your vidos!
Such an amazing documentary! Watched it on a single breath. And then - one more time. So many tiny details to be noticed.
Thank you so much!

Ooh, I so would not be able to do any of this, even putting aside the freezing cold water. You're a brave woman and I really like these videos.

You guys rock, thanks for your hard work.

I picked up your card at my local.gym, glad i did, really interesting, and brave, love to give it a go myself some time.
Hi! That's my hometown, in the most beloved gym to me in the world! So this made me smile ❤️ Thanks for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
@@EliseFreshwaterBlizzard I dont how you do it, , went potholing in Wales when I was in my teens, scared the hell out of me lol
That slide was not there when I descended Peak Cavern 40 years ago.
The water is crystal clear. Is it drinkable?
