It's really illuminating to learn how you design programs for yourself and, even moreso, how you adapt them to circumstances like injury

I know a couple of people who had stem cell therapy with great results. Im 70 and been a bit of a couch potato the last year or so. Your teaching has helped me design a program to relieve my lower back arthritis and build my core for long distance backpacking. Most of all youve taught me patience.

Nice, we haven't had a chalk talk video in a while

This is Golden! I pulled something in my lower back/hip going for too many mace 360's a couple of weeks ago. I have been doing many of the things you have suggested, lower weights, trying not to aggravate the injury etc, but I need to add the mobility work. Thanks👍

Coach Wildman... please make a Kajabi course on how to program using your method & philosophy. Something for the nerds! 🤓

I hope your stem-cell therapy treatment for your knee will be extremely successful.

Speedy recovery Mark ❤ I too tweaked an old judo knee injury last week doing ballistic step ups (MCL) 🤕 I can’t squat at the moment but I can walk, upper body pull & press. Movement is medicine, continuing to train around injuries is a great coping strategy.

Just curious, is this the same knee that you had surgery on? Would your programming had been different otherwise? Would also like to see more videos on “fun” programming

All the best with your knee recovery !
    Keep dropping knowledge for us.
Currently doing a ABCD program with Swings, Clean & Press, Basis of Strength and Single Arm Club. D program is soccer.
    Loving your programs. 🙏🏽✌🏽

Im just coming off the back of destroying my arm mountain biking, this video has come at just the right time as I wasnt sure how to proceed after a 6 month recovery period. Of course dropping the weight way back down is the answer on both my club and kettlebells, its my first day back with the adex tomorrow morning, back at level one on the 2HC program with a 12.5lb club but I think im going to 6 reps of each level before going up in weight, im looking forward to getting started and on the road to 50lbs 💪

Hey Mark! How much do you drop the weight from 29kg, when you move from log cycle marathon into strict clean and press?

    Love the program design videos!!!
I've been doing the AB program at the END of each sessions workouts. Any compelling reason to do it at the beginning, as in this video? Or is this more of a choose your own adventure situation?

Thank you for this.. I wonder if I might ask .. the workout plans have a lot of routines that are unfamiliar to me. Do you have an outline posted where the exercises are visually presented?
    Thank you!

    Best wishes for your recovery!
I wonder if there's an age when it's just no longer feasible to progress in strength... Isn't there a time when maintenance is the best we can hope for, and then we have to accept a decline in physical strength? (I hope this doesn't sound offensive - i don't know how old you are and i certainly don't presume that you don't know both yourself and the human body in general very well, I'm just genuinely wondering if that's maybe something that's not talked about in the world of fitness RUclips.)

If you can do all that shit injured, you aren't that jammed up! Ha. Hope you get better fast, I was jammed up last half of 2024 with a broke ankle but now I'm feeling good and getting after slam ball, single arm club, swings and C&P...plus swimming and martial arts...thanks for your great programs.

I ruptured ACL/MCL snowboarding 10 years ago and I do KB/HC and Mace to strengthen knee, back on the board and playing squash again, and knee feels strong/stable (gets a bit sore sometimes). Would be very interested in how you get on with the stem cell and thanks for all your great instruction.

Does the lighter (for you) weight workouts plus cardio aim to also reduce some total body weight? Less upper body mass for the legs to carry. i.e., after the surgery you can gradually introduce walking with body weight load that is less overall? While keeping movement patterns and some leg strength for the recovery by doing these squats and clubs ?
