What you guys don't understand about the heat from the Gulf of Mexico, through the upper Mid-West of America is the humidity. You can have days where the air temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit(37.77 Celsius), with close to 100% humidity. This can result in a heat index of 186°F (86°C). This can kill you pretty quickly! By the way, the heat index is described as the apparent temperature, it's what the temperature feels like to the human body when relative humidity is combined with the air temperature. And, BTW, the hottest place on Earth is Death Valley in California: The current official highest registered air temperature on Earth is 56.7 °C (134.1 °F), recorded on 10 July 1913 at Furnace Creek Ranch, in Death Valley in the United States.
I actually think most people can't handle too many choices. There was an article I was reading recently about how children are given too many decisons and it's stressing them out.

I lived in SC when I was a kid. I played outside and rode my bike or walked most places in my small town in the summer. I went back as an adult and it was 99° and 99% humidity. Miserable.

In the US, there are plenty of places to socialize that aren't bars or clubs. There are lots of special interest clubs and civic organizations you can get involved in. Some of them serve alcohol, but it is not like a bar and every place has non-alcoholic drinks like soda for people who don't drink or who are driving. For instance, in the Midwest, you can find a lot of "fraternal" organizations like the Elks, the Optimists, or the Lions club. They have lots of social events and also raise money for charity. Most religious organizations also have social events for their members.

So funny to me because even though we don’t have AC, if we did I’d want to set it at 60. (15.5 C). The BEST house temperature. Not environmentally responsible at all, so don’t do that people! I’d be tempted if I could though. My house is currently at 59 because I am very attentive to temperature regulation with the windows and blinds. It’s also like 80% humidity. My perfect situation. 🙂 I can feel when the humidity drops below 70% because it’s really uncomfortable for me. We also haven’t turned our heat on in at least 5 years, probably more. I also don’t close my bedroom window in a total rainstorm. Just put a towel down for the water that will blow in. Aren’t you glad you don’t live in my house? 😂
Most Christians in the US are members of liturgical churches (Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopal) and do visit bars, even if not to get blasted. Catholics are, by far, the largest group of Christians in the US.

Yes, we have couscous and Arabic foods because of the special relationship between Morocco and USA. Which even have cooking tagines and even woks and other cooking things like banana leaves and etc
It is common in large U.S. cities to have a multicultural food scene. In my city in Oregon, there are North African restaurants (my favorite it called Marrakesh), Ethiopian, Indian, Lebanese, Italian, Russian, all kinds of Asian and European restaurants. A good friend of mine owns a French-Arab wine bar and restaurant. He's originally from Cairo, Egypt, but also lived in West Africa and Paris. HIs girlfriend is from Frankfurt, Germany.. This kind of international 'flavor' is common in U.S. cities. And, yes, there are public swimming pools everywhere. We have one in our neighborhood that is paid for by the city government. Our house is old--built in 1929--so we don't have central air conditioning, but rather a window AC upstairs and another on the main floor. They keep the house cool when it is hot, but not cold.
Her social media names were blurry at the beginning because she was forced to change the name of her channel. Another channel had the exact same name for longer than hers was around.
You can go to a bar and not drink. Neither my husband nor I drink at bars however we will go there to enjoy the food as some have delicious food. But there are also salad bars, sushi bars and so forth. Rootbeer (soda) is absolutely yummy with a scoop or two of ice cream. Very much enjoying your videos.
Plenty of us in the U.S. don't have central air conditioning. Our family lives in a one story, 800 sqft home. We have a large window ac in out livingroom/kitchen. If we leave the doors open to the three small surrounding bedrooms, we can cool down most of the house without central air. Of course, the livingroom/kitchen is always the coldest.
Neighborhood pools are usually in the middle class neighborhoods not in working class neighborhoods or poorer areas. I definitely didn’t grow up with a pool or air conditioning, I’m older, we had a fan.
I mentioned this before regarding the DMV. I’ve never had a DMV employee treat me poorly and I can’t say I’ve ever witnessed the behavior others complain about. But… I have seen customers have melt downs because they didn’t have what they needed to complete their transaction. Often yelling and screaming at the employee or cursing the system as they stormed out. I believe people generalize that the employees are awful because the unhappy customer makes a bigger stink. Early social media created obnoxious complainers when they didn’t get their way but as of late, Americans have been making more of an effort to acknowledge the positive services they receive and not just the negative. I believe most government employees get a bad rap because people are already irritated that they have to be there or wait in line and often think because you work at a government agency, they pay your salary, therefore you are their servant and have to take their abuse. If and when you stand up to them, most likely telling them no, they can’t do something, then they label you as lazy or worthless and not deserving of the job. It couldn’t possibly be that they wanted something that was wrong. You’ve seen enough Karen videos. Well a lot of people turn Karen-esque when you tell them “no.” I’ve seen a ridiculous amount of grown men and women, throw tantrums in a store because they couldn’t get their way. There was a saying throughout America, “The customer is always right.” The reality is, that’s not correct. There are times when you can adjust something to accommodate a customer and there are times when you just can’t. Most government agencies have certain requirements and regulations that people have to adhere to. The customer has to have their correct documents in proper order and things can move forward from there. I’m certain there are all kinds of people that work at the DMV but negatively labeling them all because of a few bad ones is unfortunately what people do way too often. You’ve seen enough videos, read enough comments and lived enough life to know most stereotypes are based on a very small percentage. I’m 66 and have experienced my fair share of government dealings. Finding out what you need to have before you arrive and being prepared makes all the difference. A warm greeting and a smile helps too. 😊
What she said about the AC helping with the humidity is so true. We love turning it off and having the windows open when the weather is nice, but sometimes we turn it on even when the temperature is good, just to get rid of the moisture in the air. When it's humid, everything feels sticky, skin, floor, etc.
here in the US almost most apartment complexes have 1 or 2 pools, and many of the private homes have pools as well as our recreational facilities! our gov't also puts public pools in our parks.
No one keeps their AC that low. I keep it at 78 degrees F in the summer, but around 72 in the winter. That's supposed to be the best temperatures to save energy. Many people are moving away from carpet- it's so gross. We pulled up our carpet & put down hardwood floors. Most newer homes have hardwood or tile and some have carpet in the bedrooms. People always say they love the way carpet feels- many of us use rugs, and I wear socks or slippers anyway, so I don't miss it.
You two are so incredibly educated.. i hope you earn the 'visa lottery' ... Americans love smart people, who are funny, and immigrants. It's why they used to call America the 'melting pot'.. very diverse, makes fun food, art, music, friends, and personal relationships.
Ok. Edited comment. I heard soon after you two say that you don't have Amazon or receive any type of deliveries. That's such a shame. It really is so incredibly convenient to whatever you need directly delivered. Hopefully one day you'll be able to have it.
Dubai have everything thing she mentioned. The customer service, small talks, convenience stores, restaurants and supermarkets open 24/7 hours, being able to walk 24/7 while feeling safe. That's why i love Dubai. The only downside is that getting a job is not easy, and you can never be citizen 😂
Love all y’all’s videos especially the commentary and when you discuss stuff. You’re both so funny and knowledgeable about stuff. I really enjoy it. I’ve heard you mention Algeria a couple times but I missed whether or not that’s where you are. The part about the Sahara desert had me laughing. I wouldn’t last 10 mins.
Capitalism doesnt crush the poor. It allows corporations to thrive, that creates jobs and increased wages. Anyone has the ability to become an entrepreneur in the USA, to start little and grow. Hard work pays off, and thats the reward of Capitalisation.
Do not worry, many people don't go to bars. There are other activities to meet people: gyms, beaches, sports events, movie houses, parks, concerts etc etc. Alcohol often makes people rude, angry, belligerent.
Where I live in the Midwest, we have some neighbors with a backyard pool, and some with backyard ponds, where you can also go fishing in. There are nearby lakes you can swim, boat, and fish in. And there is a community pool in the park nearby. And the next town over, the high school has an indoor pool with public swimming times for a cheap price. And about an hour drive away there are a number of water parks with water slides and similar fun things. In Arizona, a lot of people have pools in their backyards. Pretty much all apartment complexes have both pools and hot tubs.
So glad your channel was suggested. You definitely give such a positive perspective on living in America & made me realize how much I take for granted. Prayerfully you're dreams will come true & you find your perfect forever homes 🏡 ✨️ 💛
5:50 She said Ohio, Ohio is in the north. The USA consistently records the hottest temperature on Earth 134°F (57°C) is the hottest temperature recorded in the USA.
I looked up Algeria because all I knew was the black and white WW II type movies always have spies going to Algeria to meet other spies, in the market. The predominant piece of information I got was that Algerians are the happiest people in Africa. As to a female traveling alone to Algeria, answers ranged from "Absolutely, why wouldn't you?" to "Not if you value your life."
Most bars serve food you don't have to drink alcohol there. Root beer is a soda but they make plenty non alcoholic drinks as well. I haven't been to many bars that don't serve food. I know I have been to a bar before that didn't exactly have food but they had food delivered from the restaurant next door so you could still eat just you were ordering from next door. There was a window between them just walk up to the window to order. I was at one that was below a Papa Johns pizza too and you could get pizza from there inside the bar. All sorts of bars here too. There is one real close to my house that actually used to be a grocery store that they converted its basically a bowling alley/bar/restaurant they even have an ice cream bar in there unless its not there anymore not sure but I know they had ice cream in there. They have games, pool tables all sorts of stuff to do in some bars.
My wish for you guys is that you not only get to visit, but that you have an opportunity to stay. I believe that is a dream of yours and I know very often, Dreams Come True. That’s not just a Disney catch phrase.
Tell that young lady to close and cover up the vent ☺️. In America we know to take a sweater with us when we go shopping or to a movie, etc. just a tip. ❤
One thing people never understand about Paris is that Parisians leave in the summer, and as a result, they are replaced by angry people from the suburbs.
Here in the US you can order so many drinks without the alcohol, like a pina colada or a strawberry daiquiri, or something fizzy. Also not everything called a bar is just a bar. Many restaurants have a bar area and a family area. my circle of friends is conservative christian, but we like going to the sports bar called Buffalo Wild Wings because they stay open late and we can go after an evening church service. Also, their chicken wings are the BEST!
14:40 capitalism doesn't crush the poor. One has to work hard to get out of a hole, but to quote Tommy Bottoms "there's a million and one ways to get paid up in this b**ch" just need the hustle mentality.
I live in South Central Texas in San Antonio and the weather changes quite frequently. It can be 68F during the day and 54F at night. Or it can be 84F at night and 100 during the day. Last summer here it reached 110-130 F for a couple weeks. Also it can get Extremely humid here. People seem to forget that South Texas isn't that far away from the equator, meaning it's very humid. Also recently there's been random drizzling / raining accompanied by thunder lightning for 2 hours, and then the rest of the day it's just cloudy. Also, I usually set my thermostat to 74 Fahrenheit to save money on the electricity. To where it's not too hot but not too cold, I'm fine with a warm.
There are a lot of Halal stores and yes if you are needing religious based food you can get it. If you go to New York I know there’s halal restaurants and street vendors.
Where I live I have 6 Walmart stores within 15 min of my house. Only 2 of those are the supercenters though the rest are more grocery stores but they still have a pharmacy and still have other basic household supplies and all but those stores don't have tires and other stuff the superstores have. There is quite a few more besides those that is just the ones within 15 min drive of my house they are literally everywhere.
the worst about our temperature is humidity. i grew up near Buffalo NY 🐃 so horrible winter storms 120 200" of snow ❄️ in winter than hot humid summers we will hit over a 100°f not to bad but our humidity will be like 90% if you dont have humidity where you are it makes the heat thick and sticky the shade is as hot or hoter than being in direct sun. its just miserable. literally the second you walk out of your home your balls ⚾️⚾️ start to 💦💦💦 its horrible
I’ve had some great experiences with our DMV - some nit so good but mostly good. It’s not just about tipping, we expect you to be friendly regardless of the job. We have rude people too but they stand out
I live in the Appalachia mountain region and our temperatures can range from from minus 15 degrees F. to over 100 degrees F with humidity of 80% , so it can be bone chilling cold or incredibly oppressively hot and humid here. Our Air Conditioning dehumidifies the air as well as cools it and because our homes are very well insulated we can easily maintain a constant indoor temperature in most homes of around 72° F year round.
Move to America! You’re already like family now ❤🎉 And like one poster already mentioned, there are many Muslim communities throughout the USA if that helps 🤗 Although you’d be welcome anywhere!
In the U.S. most banks now have ways to conduct business in accordance with Islamic requirements. For example land contracts instead of traditional mortgages that charge interest rates. And businesses as well I used to work in Columbus Ohio which has a large Somali population delivering parts to auto repair shops. Usually most shops would put them on credit but for Muslim customers we put in a method where they could pay immediately in cash.
Texas is hot but not as hot as the Mojave desert which cover a large part of the desert Southwest with temps 125° Farsnheight to 135°. Among the hottest temperatures in the world.
Death Valley California is hot, the record in Celsius was 56.7 in July of 1913. I am so sorry you don't have the things you need there where you live. I hope God Blesses you and keeps you well. Cyber Hugs.

I have air conditioning which is called as swamp cooler..It sits outside on the side of my house. It is like a large box 4X4..It has pads on the inside walls and water continuously drips on the pads, the air is sucked into the house into our vents, each room, all bedrooms have one, one in the bathrooms, living room and kitchen. So the cool air blows evenly throughout the house....Ceiling fans can really help...Do you have ceiling fans in Saudi Arabia? They take the place of an overhead light, and attach easily. You can get overhead fans with lights, so you enjoy both...The overhead fans are wonderful to circulate air in the room...Customer service in United States is GREAT..Everyone smiles and tires to accommodate the customer as best possible....At a restaurant, usually if the meal comes with something you can't eat, just ask if you can have something else in it's place. it is not a problem. Post where we can send the items that you need. I would be happy to send you a package.....

It's root beer SODA, no worries, guys. Yeah, guys I'm in a podunk town, village, really in Ohio. At the corner carry out I can get Korean (and I've been to (South) Korea, and Yumi a woman originally from South Korea is the owner, so it's a tiny bit 'Americanized', in that she's gone w/ the American version of the names & dialed down the hot spices, unless it is requested, but it's same as I got in Korea. If I drive 15 minutes to what I call 'civilization' I can get India-Indian, Mongolian, Nepalese, Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, Mexican, and of course, American. But drive an extra 15 minutes and there's easily another 40+ cuisines in Columbus, Ohio. Of course there are MORE American cuisine restaurants, but you can find most anything.... Even, Algerian! (Now I must go!) check out the Facebook page: Algerian food in columbus usa
I live in the South. She is in a more northern state. I keep my AC btwn 22-24. Also only waitresses at restaurants get tips but the chefs don't. They get paid better wages.

Where I live people go to the bar to relax you don’t have to drink beer to relax and watch sports or to listen to music and chill with friends
Especially if you have pets. When we moved in we got rid of the old 60's carpet and put down mostly wood floors. Much cleaner.
You would be surprised how unbelievably hot and humid northern states can get. They get snow in winter and a lot heat in summer
I would be honored to have you both as US Citizens.
Agreed.
If it's really that bad for people there then it's a shame! America is perfect but we never had to build a wall to keep it citizens from leaving.
I loved hearing BOOM CHIKA POP story of how they launched their business on HOW I BUILT THIS pod cast
Dubai have everything thing
she mentioned.
Thank you so much! and yes we are from algeria
Love ya both. Cant say i ever want to visit your country, but hope you can visit the USA.
We have "designated drivers" in the U.S. Soda and juices are free to that person. Go to bar, have a good time.
Truly tragic that to have high electrical rates in a place with so much sunlight.
So glad your channel was suggested. You definitely give such a positive perspective on living in America & made me realize how much I take for granted. Prayerfully you're dreams will come true & you find your perfect forever homes 🏡 ✨️ 💛
Welcome aboard!
5:50 She said Ohio, Ohio is in the north. The USA consistently records the hottest temperature on Earth
134°F (57°C) is the hottest temperature recorded in the USA.
80-90 degrees is normal for you guys but you wouldn't believe what humidity does in that temperature. Dry heat is fine humidity is miserable.
40 mins lets gooo!
You guys are so enjoyable to watch. Wish you all the best!
You can shut the vent in your room off lady ! Every room has a vent ! U can shut it off ! Duh 😂
She mentioned that specifically, dude….and said that it didn’t make that much difference in her situation. DUH right back.
I personally have to have the room set between 70-73°F! Even if it's cold outside
Air Conditioning aka AC in my home in North Carolina is set at 74 or 23.33 Celsius. My house is well insulated
Yea i had a garbage disposal once....ONCE! It was awesome lol.
Fun fact: The distance for the average American to a Wal-Mart is 4.2 miles
The more money u make the more u get taxed. The less money u make, the less u get taxed
Thanks!
thank you so much ♥ .
My wish for you guys is that you not only get to visit, but that you have an opportunity to stay. I believe that is a dream of yours and I know very often, Dreams Come True. That’s not just a Disney catch phrase.
Tell that young lady to close and cover up the vent ☺️. In America we know to take a sweater with us when we go shopping or to a movie, etc. just a tip. ❤
When are you guys planning on coming to the United States to visit? Would love to show you around
You'd be surprised some houses can sleep up to 20 people, cabins can sleep up to 30 people.
60°c is 140°f. The hottest it got last year I think was 120° (48°c) last year in Death Valley.
Capitalism isn't perfect but it does produce drive motivation inspires people to be more innovative
What country are you guys from?
I think the brother on the right is talking about Venice Beach California
🏀 🌊
Hello fellow San Antonian! I’m here too. Yesterday was nice til about 4 pm then I was sweating like crazy.
@@strapkovic hello there, yeah yesterday was kind of bad. At least the humidity went away though
Tons of couscous in America
hell yeah
There are a lot of Halal stores and yes if you are needing religious based food you can get it. If you go to New York I know there’s halal restaurants and street vendors.
Halal Guys is a popular chain restuarant in the cities!
Bro you guys are hilarious
Drive through wedding chapels are in Vegas
the worst about our temperature is humidity. i grew up near Buffalo NY 🐃 so horrible winter storms 120 200" of snow ❄️ in winter than hot humid summers we will hit over a 100°f not to bad but our humidity will be like 90% if you dont have humidity where you are it makes the heat thick and sticky the shade is as hot or hoter than being in direct sun. its just miserable. literally the second you walk out of your home your balls ⚾️⚾️ start to 💦💦💦 its horrible
With carpets be prepared for alot of vacuuming and shampooing the carpets
Winning the Greecard lottery I think means she was lucky to get it, not that she literally won a lottery 😅
Hottest temperature was in death valley recorded. 57 celsius
Cyber Hugs.
IN California, fast food worker’s now make $20.00 an hour. The highest minimum wage across the U.S. on those companies that have 60 establishment’s Nationwide
Have the prices gone up much? Where I live in VA, restaurant prices have gone up quite a bit.
@@ZeroTolerance-tk9ce yes, to a certain degree……they have to recoup, what they have to give out($) , some closed down, which to me, is chicken, as it tell’s you how they took advantage of their worker’s….I understand some had to close down, as it wouldn’t financially make sense
U both are the ones I'd listen to that living in the desert in 2024 u NEED a/c ....ik as a American I don't deal with the heat u do but I'm with u both A/C is the way to go ...
You can order non alcoholic drinks in sports bars, dance places with bars and restaurants.
You can go to bars without drinking lol. I personally don't go to them. They do have pool tables and music. Sometimes food.
Bars are boring for non-drinkers.
@@kck9742 You don't drink? I can go without drinking. If I pick a glass up, I won't put it down lol. I like the environment. Socializing. I used to go clubbing. Guess I'm boring lol.
