@@bioalma1998 Bro what? You clearly don't know how to play with a kid if that is the case. The mother is literally playing with their daughter, in what world does that equal narcissistic? It would be one thing if the wife thought she could do this in general but she doesn't, she is literally only playing with her kid.
I'm sorry but even though you claim to be raised by a narcissist, you don't seem to know the difference between one and a mother just playing along with her kid to make her kid have good and happy memories.
Also if you are playing with your kid leave it be? I highly doubt the mother is going to "gaslight" her child to believing that is okay, obviously when the child gets older she will clear up any confusion there may be but that's not gaslighting nor manipulating. Honestly for someone who was raised by a narcissist one would think you know the difference but honestly with what you just said, you seem like a narcissist yourself.

Since no one has commented on this, in the second story, it sounds like the OP’s parents are infantilizing their son. Sounds like you hit the bullseye with those parents. I was the scapegoat that got away and went no contact, but my 42 year old brother is infantilized. He’s completely financially dependent on our mother to this day, and his oldest boy has taken my old scapegoat role. I’ve given up after giving my brother so many resources to educate himself so he can get out of that situation, but he disregards them. I told him I don’t want to associate with him anymore because he’s in too deep with our abusers, and he told me I’d need to pay to relocate his business. I told him no, because he’s very irresponsible with money and we work too hard for everything just for him to leech off us while he takes his family to Disney World and buys $500 bongs, but has terrible credit and he and his family have been kicked out of rentals for not paying. He ran a smoke shop for a year or so and bragged that he’s not paying taxes on his profits. He eventually got audited. In his mind, it’s everyone’s fault but his, and the world owes him something for existing. Mommy Dearest, on the other hand, uses money to control people and to keep them around her. I’d rather be monetarily broke than have anyone try to break my spirit and/ or bank account.

Unfortunately, right now, the only legacy for his children is the generational curse of narcissism, until a descendent is born with the gift of discernment who seeks wisdom and finds the means to free themselves as well. I still hope he and his family will figure it all out and seek help and healing like I did, but now, that’s all I can do. Hope and pray.

Hispanic means they come from a Spanish speaking country, including Spain. Latinx means they come from Latin America (countries in south and central America and oddly Mexico, which is in North America)

Story #1: The OP is not the A-hole. And it cannot be considered eavesdropping as THEY were the ones who assumed he couldn't speak Spanish without checking and then decided to insult him while he was right there! IF they wanted to make sure that conversation remained private, they should have waited till he was not there, but they didn't. So, jokes on them for making assumptions.

Re. My brother is always asking me to make food for him...
Your parents are raising (?) a panty-waste. They're doing a great job of ensuring his failure in life.
Maybe next time he wants brownies you make them the way he likes them. Put the pan in the preheated oven and set the timer. Tell him to take the pan from the oven with the bell rings. It's almost guaranteed that he'll burn the brownies. Then let him clean up the mess.

Story 3 - I think I would wait till he has a cold and keep asking him if he has blown his nose lately. I would then get one of those UV lights that show you where bodily fluids are. . . .and show him the bathroom. Men when they pee and "shake" fling urine all over the walls, seats etc. I would show him how dirty he is. it is not visible to the naked eye but under the light you can see EVERYWHERE it goes.

Spanish is a language, not a race. Most people who speak Spanish are in fact white, whether they live in Spain or in Latin America.

First story, just because you look the part of an average white guy who doesn't understand Spanish? Doesn't mean you need to let those who do know because quite frankly? It's a good way to get a real handle on how they actually think about you. Just because they are RUDE and CRUDE doesn't make them any LESS speaking another language. Honesty you getting a much less filtered view of how they ACTUALLY think of you. This actually turns into THEIR shortcomings! LMAO on that note. The fact he didn't even let his girlfriend on the fact he spoke Spanish? Genius level thinking! You would be surprised by what people WILL say about you if they think there's a language barrier. I do know it's basically a sign of disrespect if you don't even bother to learn your extended families language because? You ARE part of their family but on the same note given your handicap not knowing their language? Shouldn't be said in secret either because it is also STILL a sign of disrespect too. Two wrongs NEVER make a right and the fact this family got caught with it's pants down? Doesn't change the fact they got caught with their pants down.
Second story... Know that one and been there. Parents ALWAYS expect the most out of the first born and after they make their mistakes on you? Still expect YOU to cover for your younger siblings despite less is being asked from them than you were during their age. Falls under the category that YOU know better but they don't. Well? Your siblings WOULD know better if your parents treated them like they treated you. The part I seriously don't like about this? As the eldest? You learned how to be independent for yourself yet? Are expected to support your siblings that are FAILING that lesson. The best teachers in life is to learn to do for yourself or learn to do without. The younger siblings are definitely NOT learning to do without if they are NOT motivated enough to do it for themselves. Definitely the parent's fail on their part.
Third story... you accept your partner, leaks and all. But this actually sounds more like an control issue. Do you REALLY want a partner that believes he should have THIS level of control over you? Accidents WILL happen but just because something can doesn't mean it will, especially if you yourself are actively trying to prevent them. If you REALLY want to get brutal back? Tell him to stop using his sock puppet because it's seriously stinking up HIS underwear drawer! LMFAO. Just saying we are all COMPLETE packages and that also means we take the best of us along with the WORST of us. That IS what it means to take the COMPLETE PACKAGE.
Forth story... man this? Hits serous gray zones. Mom letting her daughter play the 'princess' part but mom SHOULD be above playing that part herself given she is suppose to be a responsible ADULT herself... .. . So instead? She should be playing the part as the QUEEN over her daughter if we want to keep things technically correct as her husband said your NOT my 'princess' honey, you are MY QUEEN! Princesses get to play make believe but queens deal with reality while letting 'princesses' be princesses. Same note? The most IMPORTANT person in a King's world? Should be his queen and princesses benefit from being spoiled by both the king and queen by healthy limit I hope. Princesses are CHILDREN by default allowed to dream and a KING doesn't want a wife thinking she is a princess, he depending on a Queen to support both of them. Queens have responsibilities too, princesses get a pass until they grow up into queens themselves.

5:20-I can see where the parents are coming from if the brother is 10 cause he’d be too little to touch the stove, but he’s 18-he better make those brownies and if he don’t know how to then look at the directions on the back of the box. And the parents need to stop encouraging that behavior or else he won’t ever learn how to do anything by himself
9:08 I can see his point if she’s acting like a child OUTSIDE of the games, other than that-she’s just playing the role with y’all daughter, you’re kid is only gonna be a child for so long-let the mom treasure that for as long as she can and make these memories with y’all kid. And you just ruined the whole vibe with that even had the mom take off the dress

I mean , it's rude to speak in a language you think a person can't understand when the purpose of you meeting thwt person is to talk TO him ,not about him, you're leaving him out ,he must feel so confused about the language switch ups ,If he didn't knew Spanish thst is . Here he knew ,So he was able to shut you guys up.
Y'all are the cowards and extremely rude for talking bad about a person in front of you in another language , instead of being patient with him and discussing things after he goes away.

You date and live together, yet she doesn't know u speak Spanish, considering it appears to be her native tongue, u think u may have mentioned it to her, although in this case it worked out better that they didn't know or OP wouldn't be privy to what they were saying . Tell the sister maybe they should think twice the next time they decide to diss someone in another language .
