He was screaming "Halt" which is an older term for telling somebody to "stop and stand still". The same word pronounced differently can also mean "slippery" (like ice) or "lame", as in somebody having a bad leg or something. Not sure why he would scream in Swedish to one of the natives though, as I can imagine that his "angry" shouting could be interpreted as more of a threat than it actually was :)
Just imagine some (to the natives) German-sounding soldier coming at you, at high-speed in a military truck, shouting and shooting at you haha.

Halt is also french for the same thing. He's screaming "Halt, ou je tire" which means "Stop, or I'll shoot" in a terrible french accent.

In this case, the order was to stop the vehicle. Even if it's troops or vehicles - halt is used.

Is he saying halt in english? I don’t tend to listen to the audio as much when I’m reading the captions, for the sole reason that it starts tripping me up in my head and I stop catching everything I’m reading. So was he actually just saying “halt”?

@@rayceofhistory He's shouting "halt! halt!" to his driver in swedish which means stop. Then he's shouting "Halt" in french to the guy they're chasing. Halt can also mean "slippery" in swedish, hence the subtitles. Halt is the same in all three languages. All very confusing! Haha
