- 八卦 子午鴛鴦鉞 Gong Bao Tien Bagua system’s unique weapon, the Mandarin Duck Knives (some mistakenly call it the Antler Knives). The official name is “Zi Wu Yuen Yang Yue”, in which 子午Zi Wu means twelve & six o’clock, they are in opposite but corresponding with each other at all times. 鴛鴦 the Mandarin Ducks is a bird species that the male and female always inseparable in pairs, as the pair of knives should always follow each other. Lastly, the 鉞 Yue, is shaped as two counter directioned “moon arcs” what makes each knives has four sharp tips and nine blades. It is an extremely sophisticated and practical weapon that was designed to be able to go against long weapons while being compact and stealth (difficult to learn as well 😩)

Nice Fluidity and beautiful location, love this form never enough time to play! The second level with the circles on the corners is a pain in the you know what. I still get lost directional when playing Never end in same spot.
Agreed, Bagua is not easy. WuTan Bagua is what makes our Baji unique, it is what makes our Baji fluid, connects. It’s a never ending hole that just keeps taking you down and the knowledge is complimentary to all other styles.

The ones I used in the video was hand made by my ShiBuo. But mandarin Duck knives are not difficult to find. Martial arts supply stores have them: like this one:

老師我想問一下一個問題當然跟這個影片沒關😅，就是我上次遇到一個叫做八極三十二式這個東西，說是出自我們武壇，而我的印象中並沒有學過這個東西，我在練八極的步驟是發勁六式--＞小八極--＞大八極--＞六大開而已，沒接觸過這個東西希望老師能為我接惑一下😅😅，這個東西是什麼，訓練目的是啥😂
師爺早期在官邸訓練侍衛隊與特勤時，小八極、大八極、六大開算是『國有』，不準傳給民間。於是師爺就命當時的一些學生編創新的教材便於民間推廣，就編創出了八極三十二、發勁六式、八極架、精忠拳等東西做為民間訓練教材...
