20:41 Heckling pro tip: be consistent, encouraging and unique. If you can make em smile when their heart rate is at 99% you did it right. WOO!! - The Colonel
It was cool watching you battle with Gage! He's a local hero in Denver and his father manages the shop I ride for. The kid is a stud! Great race, and amazing recap as always!
I did my first 'real' CX season this year(proper bike, tires, 4 events including state champs, etc.) and have appreciated your CX content here and on bonkbros. Thanks for sharing!
You need to treat the start as if it was a Black Friday, power tool, door-crasher sale at Menards! Euros riding a corner in the mud, always choose the rut Watching you race and critique yourself, brings back memories You did get the sweetest fan kiss Great vid
After watching the WC CX in the snow & waiting for the nats, I was remembering the 1st US Nat in 14" of fresh snow on a lake front in Milwaukee. I was riding in a Louisville Jersey & my fav heckle from the XC sking spectators was "It's 50 degree in Louisville" . Way to Represent!
I love your videos and your analysis of the race. it would have been nice if you could include your position during the race, like down in the right corner or something. Then it will be even more fun to follow your races.
You say if you have a mishap or lose the leaders on the first lap your race is over…did you see who won and what happened to him?!! Maybe you missed it but the winner had a full mechanical dude. 😂it’s ok to say you just aren’t as fast as the top guys
You’re real and you share unique perspectives of CX. Really love your content. I had a sweet second CX season and trained a bit indoors watching your vids. And now I’m building base for the long course triathlon season ahead and was watching this in the TT bars. Liked and subscribed. Locked in bro. Keep it up.
"Dylan Johnson's right behind you!!". I LOL'ed.
Good job !!

Great ride, Drew!
Should have given you a shoutout as my #1 hype man. Haha. You were awesome out there. Seriously. Thanks so much for cheering.
@@DrewDillmanChannel Thanks, Drew! I guess I have a talent for heckling hahah WOO!
Maybe but definitely the fastest Bonk Bro at posting content! And you did Louisville proud - on the course and great job on the press conferences 😉
Thanks! They had me doing all the media stuff last week. Haha. It was fun.
You continue to amaze me, Drew. You did the locals proud. Can't wait to see what next year brings. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.

He’s the local hero there but I was the local hero here this weekend so I was glad to beat him. Haha. Always fun racing Gage.
Congratz for your result!
Really enjoyed this! Great to have the perspective of the course and your commentary of your race.
TALENTTTTTTTTT
What a great season you’ve had, you definitely belong up there.
Thanks!
Nice race Drew! Congratulations!
Awesome! Thanks for posting.
Nice work. Happy Holidays Dillman
Those uphill stairs were wicked! The camera doesn’t give it justice.
You definitely made us locals proud. Congrats on a solid 2023, already can’t wait for Nats next year
Yep. Me too!
Congrats man, well deserved result! Good that the rain forecast didn't hold true; the course seemed tricky but still rideable. So many spectators!
You are very strong Drew. 😊
Thanks!
Very interesting comments throughout! Please continue!!
Will do. Thanks for watching.
Great race, Drew! Congrats!
Thanks!
Sick ride homie!
Way to go! I was watching highlights yesterday and enjoyed seeing your name creeping upwards.
Yea. That’s usually how I race. Ha

Congrats tu You! Nice voiceover, I really like it that way. And man, Brunner did the comeback of the year...
Yea. Sounded pretty impressive. I didn’t see it myself. Haha.
Nice race. I miss cx racing, everything seems to be gravel gravel now. Having the fans nearby to cheer or heckle is always more fun!
It is a lot of fun for sure.
You need to treat the start as if it was a Black Friday, power tool, door-crasher sale at Menards!

you did "502" proud!
Nice ride 👍
Thanks Josie! Wish you were there. Andi missed you! Haha.

Oh yea. That’s a good idea. I like it.
That crash was spectacular and horrific
Yes. Pretty scary.
No one does it like DIzzle.
Thanks man!
Gearing, Tire choice, and pressures?
I meant to put this but forgot. Challenge Limus. 19/20 psi. 42T ring.
Great effort, you'll keep him off next time!
Great job!!?
Did you use new cleats for this race? Nice job racing and YouTubing!
They were pretty new, yea. Surprised I pulled a pedal.
Nice work Drew! (It was all hard work, no talent involved! 😂)
That’s right Ty!
that crash at the start made me hurt. cold and wet, to pavement...ugh. regardless, way to work and handle the challenges of this race!!!
Appreciate it. Thanks.
You should have slapped the guy who said talent 😂
Should have. Just stopped and slapped him. But there were 100 other people yelling it too. Haha.
Nice ride. Was Caleb okay?
Caleb was able to recover and rally all the way up to 11th place at finish!
Yea. Seemed ok. I chatted with him after for a sec.
Casey Hildebrandt adds more details about the crash, see his December 10, 2023 at 2:34 PM race post description box on Strava .
8:45 except for the national champion, Eric brunner, who has a mechanical first lap and brought it back.
True.

Yea. Very true. I guess I should have been careful about what I said. Haha

your fans are so sick. nothing feels better than people screaming your name while you are at 11/10th’s
True true. Haha.
When that guy said "Talent" you must have been really miffed.
