I ordered the Enchanted Tarot years ago and just kind of felt meh about it. Your mini-tour reminded me about the Enchantment section of the book! I'm using it as my October deck. Thank you! I loved this witchy deck share! So much fun! It makes me wish I'd gotten on the Dark Mansions Tarot Train when it was leaving the station. But I wasn't really called to it at that time. Not sure I am now, either, but i sure wouldn't say no to it if it were easily available. I've heard some stories about how long it took to get to folks, etc. That said, everyone who works with it seems to love it. I've also been SO drawn to the Mildred Payne decks as well! SO many times I've nearly gotten both of those decks. I have never been able to justify the Black Enchantment deck because I'm not sure I'd really ever read with it. I think I'd be far more likely to sit and play with it and look at it and have it as an art object because from that standpoint alone it's completely brilliant. I would, however, read with the secret pocket oracle. No question. Wonderful, WONDERFUL walk-through!!!
Dark Mansions has a second edition available now - same deck, but I think 2 back options. Mine took something like 3+ months to arrive though, but lately I've seen some posts on facebook from people saying they've been getting it in less than a week. So maybe they changed their shipping for the better. The Mildred Payne decks are just so fun around Halloween though. Haven't used them for clients, but they'd be great if I do some readings at a Halloween event some day. 🎃💀👻🙏🏼

I have two live gigs this month (which I'm super geeked and excited about!), but I don't know that I want to get this deck just for those events. One is Halloween themed ("Witchy Wednesdays" at Synergy Elixers), but I feel like my current decks are creepy and witchy enough for that one. The other one isn't seasonally themed so much as just a psychic fair. But the Oracle of Black Enchantment would be SO MUCH FUN for a Halloween party, wouldn't it?!

You can bet I will be pulling it out and working with it again. Ravens Wand is based on a trilogy fantasy series written by the same person. I fell in love with the oracle and I’m a huge reader so followed up with purchasing the trilogy. :) lovely video.
Excellent decks! I see that the Seasons of the Witch is going to be reprinted in 2020, that's nice, I like that one. I love all of Patrick Valenza's creations, and lately, the Royal Mischief Playing Cards. They're Deviant Moon on a budget :)) I have pre-ordered the Abandoned Oracle, but it's a gift for my daughter, so I might need to wait awhile to see it!

This is going to sound so weird... but it's just this loving aura, warmth, just beautiful really and it's just caught me so off guard, but it just threw me back to being a kid and seeing certain people in that light, that aura. I'm looking into buying another oracle deck and videos like these help immensely, since, for some strange reason, some vendors or generally the sellers of decks don't add a single picture of a card in some cases and that just makes me scratch my head, how do you intend to sell something successfully if you aren't even giving me something to go off of....? I understand the counterfeit market is going strong, but showing a handful of cards won't make a difference. If they want to rip the deck off they'll just buy 1 copy and then take it from there. It's really horrendous how hard it can be to find certain decks in an authentic version. Rule of thumb, if it has a QR code, it's likely a fake. If it comes in a cheap small flap box like playing cards, but you've seen it offered in a nice big box normally (for a higher price usually) then it's also fake. The small box that is. And of course the dead giveaway for most is when it doesn't even come with any guidebook at all. Not even a LWB. But yeah, the market is really booming. And I feel bad for the deck illustrators and makers because they already don't make a killing from what I understand. I watched a video of one of the wildwood tarot creators where he talks about counterfeits a bit and it made me sad and angry for him because they can't do much about it, so it's up to us, the consumers, to make the ethical choice. Don't get me wrong, the cheaper decks are very lucrative, especially to someone like me, I lost my job this year, my husband, everything. I'm poor really. The only reason I even have a phone right now is because my ex is still paying for it. My son lost his daycare spot and we are both not healthy people (he has a heart defect and I am immunocompromised as well) so we've been isolated since March. But yeah, I get wanting to save money. I can only afford something for myself once every blue moon (which coincidentally is coming up, so there ya go 😆), but I'll still buy the original even though that means I'll only be able to get 1 deck instead of maybe 2. Wow this turned into quite a rant. Sorry.
