  • dartsreviewchannel.com/ Here is part 2 of my Mission Samurai Infinity dartboard review. Part 1 was more of a quick preview so there is more detail in this part 2 video as well as all the same tests I did in the Winmau Blade 6 comparison video. I show the results of the test and also do a quick compare to the results from the Blade 6 boards. I have also used the board for over 50+ hours without rotating to get a full concentrated test of how it wears. So is it the new best dartboard to buy?

    Playing the Samurai Infinite for a couple of months now, I can absolutely affirm anything you´ve said about the board, Darren. Certainly not THE best you can buy, but surely among the top 3 boards available with the B6DC being my number one board and the Shot! Bandit Duro coming in third place. With these in depth tests you´re doing what no one else in the yt dartiverse does...and that´s exactly why I´m so fond of your channel. Kudos to you, Darren ,for doing all of this for us out there!!!

      Thanks Chris! I still think its decent as it has worn well and I know all boards have their own likes and dislikes for people for various reasons, if it was just a touch firmer overall and more consistent with that firmness I think it would definitely higher ranked for me personally. I have come to realise over the years though that no two boards or even batches of boards are consistent enough for everyone to have the same results but they are close I guess. But it helps to hear other peoples experience good or bad :) Cheers! :)

    There is something of all the good boards on the market in the Mission Samurai Infonity and makes it an all-rounder for me. Not too hard, not too soft. I guess I was lucky with my board. When I unpacked it I found no holes or workmanship flaws. Really nice to look at and great colors....

    • @DartsReviewChannel
      @DartsReviewChannel  6 месяцев назад

      I think there is a lot of inconsistency in board manufacture, seems to be very hard to get a range of boards all the same and then of course the conditions they are used in are different. For most I think the One80 Gladiator 3+ is best but some people still say they have had bad ones. Not sure if Winmau have improved the B6 Triple Core as someone said it looked firmer at the Bahrain masters but they may use a better version of it? The Infinity is pretty good but a bit mixed on the firmness level. I quite like the Unicorn Ultra but it does not heal the holes up so well, improves a bit with use though.

      @@DartsReviewChannel The Outlaw Warrior is an incredibly hard board, the quality is comparable with a Mission Samurai I or II (not infinity!). Mine lasted a bit more than a year, played an hour and a half or so every day for the most time . The uncommon blue and red colour combination may cause initial irritation ( did it for me),but when you´re used to the optics, it´s an okay board, a long lasting one, but with deficits in quality compared to the top level boards. The blue color just doesn't make sense to me, it's awfull to look at😬 Would never buy just for that reason. But i am a bit OCD'ish so that might have something to do with it😅 I have the Target Aspar board, i got it for 40 euros/ 34 pounds. I think for that price it is good value and it's easy on the eyes. There are few imperfections just outside of the spider that will result in a bounceout if you hit them but other than that haven't had any bounceouts. I throw with 16g barrells, around 18g hole weight, and have a light'ish throw. PS. Loved the 1000 stab rewind😂 You are very dedicated man😄

    Hi :-),
    I bought the samurai 2 again recently as its my favourite board. This time it's not as firm as when I got one 2 years ago which was slightly disappointing but not the end of the world as most boards seem to be getting softer these days bar the aspar and gladiator. I also bought the designa number ring that this board has. Would you say there's much difference in the boards once you change the number ring as the samurai 2 seems to have much more vibrant colours these days than it did 2 years ago now as well. Makes me wonder what the point of this board is lol.

    • @DartsReviewChannel
      @DartsReviewChannel  Год назад +1

      Not a whole lot of difference really but most boards are quite similar in looks anyway.

    • @jaydoyle7380
      @jaydoyle7380 Год назад

      @DartsReviewChannel Agreed, I just don't get the need for this one when the samurai 2 is pretty much the same thing if you add the blacked out number ring. Only difference being the blue branding as the sisal on my new samurai 2 seems exactly the same as what you're review on this board shows in this video. Either way both seem top quality boards I just wonder why they didn't add the number ring to the samurai 2 and put the price up slightly rather than make a whole new board that's not too dissimilar.

  • @MatadorDarts
    @MatadorDarts Год назад

    In terms of on board performance for value it's probably the best board for me. I think it beats the standard Blade 6 for longevity.
    The inconsistency happens with every board, I think the way you worded it may sound a bit harsh as it sounded like you were saying there are firm and hard spots randomly across the board but looking at the pressure tests it's pretty consistent if you compare all the big segments, treble segments etc.

    • @DartsReviewChannel
      @DartsReviewChannel  Год назад +2

      Well I still like the board which is why I said it came close to being top as it does seem to have worn well, but the niggles I mentioned are still valid for me to not put it at the top.
      Maybe I never explained it well enough but yes the randomness of soft and hard parts is what I have noticed more since using it and have even mentioned it numerous times when doing reviews using the board.
      I have noticed it far more than other boards in spite of the results of the test. Sometimes my darts just sink right in and others barely stick in, for me its not a huge issue in terms of losing a dart to the floor for the reasons mentioned in the video, but its still annoying and not so good for people who may have a soft throw or use light darts.
      With the B6TC it was very soft all over, so I knew what to expect, likewise the Target Aspar seems very hard all over, but because to me it seems a little more random on the Infinity I cant give it a top spot because of that but yes its still very good for the money.
      Its also why I ask for other people to comment on their experience and it seems Chris F below agrees with me :)
