We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

    Matthew 6
    Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
    Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

You must have missed the millions of times he has said build wealth so not only can you live like no one else but you can GIVE like no one else. It's about being able to give and bless those who need it. Using the blessings God has provided you because you obeyed His principles to give to your church, to fund missions, to help single moms trying to survive and take care of their children. To bless your children with a legacy of giving...God wants you to use your blessings and not be selfish or greedy with the blessings He provides

Wise people replace their vehicles before the Warranty runs out, and instead of a high rate financing contract... Refinance your home at an advantageous rate, with minimal use of your homes equity with a minimal increase of cost, as compared to the monthly cost of an Auto Financing contract monthly payment. But, remember to pay more to the Principal when you are able‼️💯‼️

Fantastic speech. Actually one of the best I've come up with without a doubt. However, I think staying out of debt is not always the smartest choice... I thinks debt does make sense but just when you are using it to acquire any dividend asset, such as a real estate property.

did you even listen to the speech he literally talked about how that messed up a portion of his life you have to be very careful when creating debt especially when youre young.

I think it messed up his life because it was a private bank or credit union. If you have a 30 year fixed loan the bank can’t just call your loan due. I agree with the perfect storm. Acquire real estate with no debt is nearly impossible

If you listen to Dave more the one they he does say debt is ok for is your home because it is an asset that increases in value, unlike things like vehicles. I suppose if you are comfortable enough that you can buy real estate go for it. I believe what happened to Dave was just bad circumstances and he grew a bit faster than he could handle.
