- Senator Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, told a gathered crowd of parents at the California Senate Judicial Committee to flee the state on June 13 during a hearing on a bill which would put parents who don’t affirm their child’s “gender transition” in danger of child abuse charges.

Here in Washington State they pass the law where if your child is feeling like they're questioning their gender and they tell people at school and the school feels like the parents aren't supportive they can take your child away that day and you will never see them again they will be given hormones and puberty blockers and surgery to mutilate them. If you try to find out where your child is the police can only tell you that they are with the state.
This is why my daughter who is almost 4 years old will never set foot in the school system I am not going to allow her to be indoctrinated confused and then kidnapped. The Revolutionary War started over much less. This is disgusting what the state and the school systems are doing to our children. The drag queens the other day were marching and chanting that they are coming for our children. Good parents as well as Christians and Muslims we all need to stand up and stop this shit

This guy is one of the Republicans of CA, who literally can’t do anything because of the Democrat super-majority. There are many, many Californians who are sane, and don’t like what’s happening here. I wish I could move myself, and those of us who can, to get away from it, will vote according to their ‘conservative’ values.
Having said that, I suggest that those complaining about CA immigration ought to clean up their own state messes before they try blaming Californians for their own problems. There are times when you know someone is holding back tears. This man was doing everything he could to not get overly emotional. This is not gaslighting, this man like millions of other Californians (myself included) are watching their beautiful state crumble under woke culture and corrupt government enabling it. We in California teach tolerance for ALL, not just one group. There is no more tolerance, there is only chaos. I am in exile in another state at the moment but my heart was left on the shores of San Diego and I grieve daily. I miss my home and I miss my people.

Raised in nearby OC for 44 years and left last year for a red state. I, too, miss the old country, but won't ever go back. SoCal today is not the place it used to be and it makes me SO sad. But I'm embracing my new state hoping to have a positive influence in my new community.

As a native Californian who "fled" my home state in 2005, I can attest to what this state politician is discussing. The "stupide" that has been going on for years in Cali is very damaging to the state as we now see. I read now that where I grew up (San Diego County) is now the hot bed for homeless encampments. It makes me sick to see what I saw coming for California actually be worst than I imagined as I was growing up! "Despicable!"
I am a little slow...I left in2007. It was a wonderful place to grow up but now I don't want to go visit.
When I visited the States in 94’ I was shocked then at how many were living on the streets I traveled through 8 states in 6 weeks and in every major city the number of homes shocked me. I know we have the homeless here in Australia and since the pandemic it has doubled, but there in the States it’s an even bigger problem.
I know that not all homeless people are on the streets by choice because my brother had a choice he could have moved back home anytime he wanted or stayed with me but he chose to live on the streets it’s the % who never chose to live on the streets that are doing it the hardest ever.
When companies and private home owners put rents up so high and out of reach of the basic persons monthly earnings it makes me wonder why. There should always be rentals low enough for everyone to be able to rent a home.
Part of the problem is everyone has started to worship the mighty $.
I ended up having to move back to my parents as my rent kept increasing every 6 months, I had been there for 8 years when the rent started going up I was paying $150 a week when I left it was $220 and I had been there for almost 10 years, when it was placed on the market for rent it was jacked right up to $360 a week. It was only two bedrooms and the kitchen was from the 1950’s it only had cupboards in there because when I moved out I ran out of space in my trailer so was not able to take the cupboards with me. Well the last laugh is on me because I was also moving out because there was a drug dealer in that section of units 😹😹😹so once people find that out they too will be moving out fast😹😹😹
I was needed back home anyway so it was easy to give up my unit, it was the best one I had ever stayed in over the years, but it sure was not worth $360 a week.
My wife and I left. Both of us multi generations Californians. Love the state. Breaks my heart to not raise my kids there but they are that - MY kids

I moved to California in 1997. Felt like I had been dropped off on another planet! By 2004, I knew I didn't want to continue to live amongst the chaos, high cost of living, natural disasters, contentiousness, and pretentious culture. Couldn't make the move until 2009 but I was a relief to myself and my children. There is a spiritual stronghold over that state from north to south. Praying that the Lord will help mercy on His beautiful creation(the state and the people)In the meanwhile, save yourself and your children-get out!

move up here to get away from what's going on in the USA.
Most of the Americans I met here recently are from either California or New York.

I’ve been happily homeschooling in West Virginia and Texas ever since. I do think it’s very tragic that my children should’ve enjoyed the birthright of being Native Californians like I was, enjoying the cultural melting pot in Los Angeles, the most gorgeous surf in the U.S.A., mountains, giant redwoods, deserts, and wine country. That was literally ours by right. But we had to leave it to be destroyed by Leftists because frankly, our children’s everlasting souls are more important.
We traded all that for life in the middle of nowhere, with tornadoes, mosquitos and heat beyond measure, where a trip to Dollar General is considered a day out, all for the sake of being able to raise our children as we see fit in FREEDOM!

Aww you're in my home state of beautiful West Virginia. We own a home about 40 miles from Washington DC, the septic tank of the world. Well I live 6 months in Texas, 6 months in my home Town, Charles Town West Virginia. We're a Republican ran state , but the last 25 years the liberals of DC, Maryland, Virginia have moved in , lower property taxes, low crime . They've built ugly housing developments where beautiful apple, peach and big farms once existed. We're still holding on though.

We came to Texas for religious reasons. My husband couldn’t find a church in line with his doctrinal convictions in WV. So here we are.
I miss the beaches and mountains in Cali. and I miss the forests and creeks in WV.
But I really love the homeschool freedom we have here in Texas. The kids have really blossomed since we got out from under the regulations in WV.

Im from Bay Area and will bring coservative Christian values with me. One thing about CA. It pays its Gov workers very well. I retired at 55 and get 94% of my salary for life under Cal-PERS. One thing to think about is that you don’t have to tell people how to vote. It’s obvious when you actually think about it, that only those who oppose this junk are leaving, while those who want it will stay. The free person moving on their own is not the trouble. Yes, this has happened in the past. People left California 20+ years ago for Arizona and Washington State, because of high housing costs, and brought their liberal politics with them. Today people are fleeing California because of politics, so the political impacts on states that receive these "political refugees" should be different than before.
This has certainly been the case in Florida, where newcomers have definitely turned the state redder, as reflected in Ron DeSantis' margin of victory in 2022 vs. four years ago.

I moved out to California when I was in my 20s I moved to Naples Florida it was beautiful untouched beaches I saw small town grow into a megalopolis with everybody and their cousin moving they’re running from the other states that was a year ago I no longer can afford $2000 rent in Florida and the people had changed it was no longer my small town I moved to West Virginia it’s absolutely beautiful here I wish I’d done it sooner God bless everyone

Toward the end of the video, did you notice that there were people laughing at him? I had to rewatch to believe what I heard. Man...A guy pours his heart out, common decency used to be to just let him say what he has to say even if one didn't agree. We've lost so much of what made us decent humans.
