This is great but the REAL challenge is finding a replacement battery that is not junk. Every replacement phone battery I have ever bought off ebay has been worse than the depleted genuine battery that i was replacing.
Hi. Great video. My tablet charges super slow regardless of what charger I use. It could take up to an hour to get 1% charge to the current battery level. I just opened it to see if there's something wrong, but I don't see anything damaged inside. Do you have any advice, please? I'm wondering if changing the charging port could fix this.

aldamaro restrepo yo que soy de México cdmx tuve que ir personalmente y solo consigues el touch y display en 1000 pesos mx si eres de otro país no tengo idea, en caso de flex de carga hay algunos modelos y depende de la numeración aunque en mi caso lo tuve que pedir por mercadolibre ya que como dices no hay refacciones a la mano...saludos y a quien hizo este video me sirvió

Great video, great help. Many thanks. Apologies for only speaking English. I have removed the small USB and the little board. It was a bit melted (my wife found a very old Nokia charge lead and that did the damage). Nothing else seems to be affected. We have all the relevant tools and meters etc, etc. Is there any way we can check the system is still letting power is as it should, rather than waste the money on a new USB that won't help anyway? Many thanks if you can help.

Firstly, Disconnect the battery inside and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
@@fucksake893 I found out the tablet selects charger. A different charger worked well with it.

.Your battery has run out below 3.5 volts. Try charging it directly.
I had the same issue. A better power supply that can do 2A worked much better and it charged using that.

Have you considered updating to a USB C type socket to give a bit of robustness and alleviate the problem with micro-usb?
