The former one might be the best golf club in the world, (consistently in the top 3) and I heard USGA wants to take US Open there but they hv zero interests in it. With under 1,000 members, the board of directors reaches out to potential members for the private club, and membership is not open to application. Even if you are a guest of a member, you must have a low handicap to play. Oakmont holds the most times US Open than any other courses in the world and there will be another US Open there soon again. It is known as one of the most difficult golf courses in the United States. Memberships are by invitation only and start at $75,000.

我以前公司的CEO就是 Augusta 的会员，他说里面的会员很多都是fortune 500 的CEO，也有一些私人的富豪， 很少年轻会员。如果死了， 也不能传给下一个。里面的会员很多老到不能打球，但绝对不会放弃会籍， 那时候年费好像是5万美元。不过我没有打过，他说每个会员有guest 的 quota...要留给客户，不能不带自己的高级员工打球。
看来光认识还不行，还得有利可图😂

期待有一天能看到Pine Valley举办职业比赛
我以前聽過一個故事大概是這樣，某個國內的人去到應該是美國，他想參加某個高級球場俱樂部會員找人推薦等了好多年終於輪到他能入會了，但可能太開心入會附近某一天他去那球場打球時他沒留意在停車場換了球鞋，被人看到了舉報就取消了他的入會資格，苦等了好幾年的會員就這麼飛了。所以想進高階會員球場還得不只有錢有，連要遵守的球場禮儀可能都有不少。
涨知识了，我一直是在停车场换鞋的😅，以后得注意了
@@laonagolf 我想應該只有高級的私人球場才會這樣特殊限制，ㄧ般打公眾球場大家可能也只有停車場方便能換鞋，估計那個人可能平常停車場換鞋換習慣了沒留意到這私人球場有這規定自己沒讀清楚。
另外我上禮拜在球場同組的白人跟超沒禮儀惡意擊球過我們頭上的韓國老頭打架揍了他，還上了新聞我YT主頁有貼我拍的現場影片，你沒事也可以看看。只能說打球安全跟禮儀第一，還有在北美打球小心韓國老頭😂
