    Quick question: Can a Netrunner send his Black ICE down the structure? Black ICE can follow a runner but can a runner sick them on something they see down the Net Architecture?
    Example: As a Exec I have a driver but am about to pick up a new NPC. Was thinking a netrunner, we already have one in the group but a second netrunner could keep the Architecture from resetting if one is forcefully Jack-Out. The other main support would be sending down Black-ICE to help and cracking passwords/spot while the main runner does the hard stuff.
    Would this work? Or does my NPC runner have to get up close to drop the ICE?

      Normal Black ICE does not travel unless following an enemy Netrunner. It is like laying down a trap behind you, and is inactive until an enemy triggers it. Demons can technically do this, but they are there to use Control Nodes rather than create effects in the NET.
      This is all RAW, and up to your GM, but roaming Black ICE can be a dangerous thing if you have them capable of that and wind up entering a room with every single Black ICE in your Net there, and all getting a free hit on you, insta-killing your Netrunner.

    Ok. So I can use black ice myself. Tho I have a question. Would anti-program Black Ice target enemy Black Ice, or does it only go after enemy netrunner's programs?

    • @DiceTTRPG
      @DiceTTRPG  Год назад

      All depends on which Anti-Program you use, some do give different damage for just Black ICE like Sword and Banhammer. It'll say it in the description.

    how does netrunner Vs netrunner work?

    • @DiceTTRPG
      @DiceTTRPG  Год назад +4

      When fighting another Netrunner, you're going to be doing the same kind of combat as if you are against a Black ICE. It's just now you have to think about targeting specific programs the enemy has, and there is no way to know what they are packing without attacking first.
      I'll ask Zee if he would like to show off Netrunner VS Netrunner combat in the example Netrun.

      @@DiceTTRPG thx, I also wanna ask how two net runners would run into each other to begin with? Will both of them have to be in the same NET architecture? Can one just Jack into another?

    • @DiceTTRPG
      @DiceTTRPG  Год назад

      They must be in the same NET Architecture. There is no way, currently as written, to directly jack into someone else's cyberware or cyberdeck. That'd all be GM flavor there and unique to any table wanting to try that one out.
