The rear foot rest has a metal insert connected to the battery box that is covered by the plastic deck plate.

WARNING: This scooter has it's downsides, though I would say it's pretty amazing. The brakes will probably rub on the disk as soon as you get on and will continue to do so until you align it. (unfortunately there's no way to completely have it not rub off and on, but would rather have it rub while not on it.)
The throttle needs to be kicked off first before it'll go, so going up hill if steep can be really, really challenging as you can't kick off going straight up a steep hill.
The scooter is mildly water resistance. There's a vent right near the front tire that water can go in straight to the electronics board.
The brake lines may be leaking. (mine was leaking upon receiving it and still don't know how to fix it without a bike shop doing the repair.)
The acceleration is very jerky, I have let friends try it and fall off immediately from it accelerating too fast. (personally I learned to get used to it and love it because I can just immediately go.)
The tubes may become deflated because they can get pinched in the wheels. They don't offer tires that are solid without tubes (mind blowing because they would be perfect for something this powerful.)
the back guard will not last. For anybody. It comes off very easily and will come off when you go over a strong bump.
Apart from all that, it's an amazing scooter though.

Why does this one have the big orange Inokim badge on the deck? Every one I’ve see. Is all black and also does f have the logo on the sides and front?
All the OXO's look like they have that badge on the deck as far as I can tell.
He reviewed the recently released 2023 model which is a very slight modification of the older model hence the differences you mentioned
just got one last week and the rear break making so much squeaky noise when breaking …..how to fix it?

At first my scooter would only go 14 mph uphill as I am 260lbs but after using it more it’s now going 23 uphills. Like it got faster now. Is there a break in period or something or did anyone else notice that

You've never heard colorway when describing shoes, bikes or any number of items that feature more than one solid color? It means any of a range of combinations of colors in which a style or design is available. In this case it's black and orange. What kind of shitpost is this?
@@RunPlayBack No sir, the word colorway suddenly put to use in the recent year or two. The range of colors used to be called the range of colors. Colorway is legit, but is about as legit as saying "how do you do?" instead "how ya doing!", it gives me the d chills everytime I heard someone awkwardly utter "colorway", does that sound right to you? Only place you really hear people say that is on RUclips, no one in real life talk like that sir. Do you speak to your family using that word when shopping for a shirt at Macys? Hey look honey look at that colorway of that Nike shirt? Trust everyone be staring at you like you are crazy.
@@derrekb4501, Americans also use the word “straightaway” for the straight bits on a racetrack. The rest of the English speaking planet just call them “straights”. 🤷♂️
