I am working on more services through mu Ko-Fi page such as private calls/lessons and, a soon to be announced, online sale so stay tuned! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and support. Having you in my community is the real blessing. Love, Monique
Love the new planter, and I so look forward to seeing your chess set! Thank you for your videos and for your encouragement to keep us creating whenever we can. I know I have to.😄
The parrots seem to like you. You are so lucky to have them visit. I have a hawk that likes to chase one of my cats. Really wonderful is the osprey that has been stopping by. I live on the bank of the Sacramento River in Reding, California. The osprey nest is across the River but they like to eat their fish in my next door neighbors tree. I am so fortunate to see them up close. Your use of mason stain to colorize pearl white is quite brilliant. I was thinking the glaze might be kimchi before you explained. I really liked your pendants. I made some earrings with Cone 5/6 glazes and they also melted so that the bottoms have glaze drips. Speedball dragonstone glazed earrings look really good with the drips, mottled blue with burgundy drips. Love all your carving and slip work and that planter. Thanks for sharing and entertaining, Liana
What a terrific kiln load! And I love to hear of your experiments hacking slips and glazes, producing excellent results and saving money. Looks like the parrots are here to stay!
Love the chess pieces! I need to get back to my chess set project. I got distracted making dishes. The castle is called a rook, the horse is a knight and the pointy one is the bishop. Then the queen, king and pawns. So from outside to inside, on the chess board, you have the rook, the knight, the bishop, the queen and the king. Typically they get taller as you work toward the center. Beautiful birds! I've had lilac crowned Amazon, quaker parakeet, cockatiels and conures in the past. My daughter had a cockatoo. I also had a crow for a time, and he was the smartest of them all!
Thanks Pat! Thank you for he correct names for the pieces! I tried to make them taller towards the center but the bishop turned out a bit shorter lol. They are so fiddly, I am not making then again, hahaha. I have never had birds, I am so blessed these come to visit me every day. My granddad had a wild crow come to visit him every day, he was a smart one too!

Thank you Liana! To see an osprey upclose is quite the scene! I have seen them here too but only from afar.

Glad you got your kiln working again. Have a wonderful week
@@sharonpollack1119 it wasn't my kiln. It's the utility company that can't always supply 220V. Very frustrating.
@@nukuaceramicsbonaire Totally Frustrating I totally understand.
@@sharonpollack1119 thanks!
You Are Amazing !
