You included Gaston, who is basically just a big himbo with no powers, yet leave out Frollo, who set all of Paris on fire with his influence?
My thoughts exactly!!
Sure Gaston doesn’t have any powers, but the wicked narcissist’s ability to charm a whole village puts him among Disney’s most intimidating foes. When Belle turns down Gaston’s marriage proposal, he devises an evil plan to lock her father Maurice up in the asylum in order to blackmail her into marrying him. After that plan fails, he turns his anger to her friend The Beast and stirs up the village’s xenophobia to storm the castle. He stabs The Beast nearly ending him, but thankfully falls to his own death before he can inflict more damage.
You're forgetting that the people of Paris began seeing how horrible Frollo actually was, when he began persecuting innocent bystanders and burning down the city in the middle of the film.
@frankiegalindo980 not saying Gaston has no influence or power, but if you are going to pick a villain with no powers other than influence, I would most definitely put the man with a title of Judge and heavy religious backing from the church who massacred a whole city above a dumb jock who is liked a bit too much by village simpletons.
Frollo was the one I was looking forward to seeing in this video.

Dr Faciller is, for me, an underrated villain.
He's definitely the best looking, imo. I feel like I'd make a deal with him and have the same response as Naveen: "He was very charismatic!".

I would have moved Gaston to the honorable mention list and put in Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Frollo also has the most epic Villain song in Disney history, "Hellfire". Otherwise I agree with the list.

Lady Tremaine is one of the most vicious Disnay villains because all her power comes from reality. she has the manipulation of Scar, the ambition of Jaffar, the arrogance of the Evil Queen and the cruelty of Gaston. she is more dangerous than three villains combined!!

He is the most darkest and evil Disney villain period.
Chernabog is my favorite Disney Villain. He’s actually a cross between a Mayan Bat God and a Minotaur. Which you can actually see in his design. Another fun fact: Ursula is Triton’s sister. Fun Fact number 3: The Horned King set up shop in Camelot which is evident when Tarren finds the enchanted sword which is clearly Excalibur.

Mother Gothel was already dying due to the magic of the flower disappearing after Rapunzel's hair was cut. Pascal simply tripped her to caused her to fall out the window. Gothel was dust before she hit the ground.
Hercules technically didn't kill hades. You can't kill a god. Herc just trapped him in an endless prison. Unless you mean the hydra then yes he killed a monster

Tarzan technically didn’t kill Clayton , Clayton simply sliced the vines that Tarzan tied him up in which resulted in his death. Ultimately Tarzan was innocent and Clayton did himself in.
Too bad they don't accept ties. I would've had a hard time to choose between Chernabog, Maleficent, & Hades for number one since they're all equally powerful

These are My Most Favorite Evil, Heartless, Bruteful, Merciless, Malicious, Malevolent, Tyrannical and Dominant Disney Villains I Absolutely Love, Cherish, Respect and Appreciate throughout the years.
I personally would have put Chernabog at No. 1. My theory is that he's the ultimate source of evil magic in the Disney universe, so everyone from Maleficent to Hades would get their power from him. As for Jafar's genie form, he's probably got more abilities but the "wee little bitty living space" issue puts him distinctly below the king of terrors.
Isn't the Beast technically the lord of Belle's village?
Hades does make a whole lot of sense, given that he's the older brother of Zeus, though Hades is simply the God of the Underworld, not the God of Death. That title belongs to Thanatos in the myths.

@user-ix1rp9ff3p Sadly yes... and I'm not entirely sure why modern cinema does Hades so dirty by making him a villain... yes, there was the matter of his kidnapping Persephone, but that only happened because Zeus gave Hades her hand without consulting Demeter or Persephone herself (a sad reflection of how little women in the world of Ancient Hellas and Rome were valued by men) first. And of course, let's not forget that Zeus and Hera were the ones with the massive tempers...
@@thomasecker9405 mostly Hera, and that's because conflating the many local gods into Zeus inevitably led to those local gods' consorts becoming Zeus's affairs, though how on earth Hera's jealousy & punishments were treated into the "comedy" genre is beyond me...

Also, when we talk about Maleficent we cannot forget to mention the incomparable Eleanor Audley, who voiced her character, as well as the character of Lady Tremaine in Cinderella, and was featured in the show The Beverly Hillbillies!

I'm glad that Hades is on the list, along with Jafar. Anyone raises their hand on who their favorite Disney Villain is, this includes the ones in the honorable mentions, and the ones who didn't made the list.
Syndrome lost because he had no concept of the Scientific Method when testing his Omnidroids.
I feel there is a massive disconnect with Ursula as she is a Demi-God along with Triton. Her power, that we see in the Movie, is limited as she's checked by Triton. Her level of power would be under Hades, so her rank should be around 3rd / 2nd Place.

PS - the accent used by voice actor Eleanor Audley for the character of maleficent in sleeping beauty is known as a Mid-Atlantic or Transatlantic accent. A very famous form of vocal production on stage and in film at a particular time in American entertainment.

I could be completely wrong about this, but I'm wondering if they left Frollo off the list because of the obvious predatory undertones of his character? Not to say that characters like Gaston weren't total pigs, but I remember seeing a lot of think pieces about the villain from the hunchback of Notre Dame representing a level of misogyny that even Disney looked back at and realized it went too far.

The original Briar Rose, Maleficent isn't invited due to a lack of gold plates. All they had left was silver. So instead of insult with a harmful plate, they didn't invite. Which wold have been wrose?

I would think Maleficent would be number 1 to be honest, hello she is Mistress of All for a reason, she literally cursed a baby to sleep with just one prick on a spinning wheel that’s dark as it gets for a THOUSAND YEARS to be clear, but i would probably be more afraid of The Evil Queen to be honest, cause she not only poisons Snow White with a poison apple but she literally wants her killed and in the movie of the original want’s her heart out of her, that’s pretty WILD and INSANING if you ask me, who want’s to get there heart ripped out of there body, she has POTENTIAL power.

I would have swapped Gaston with Frollo. Frollo's deeds are more evil. He's the minister of justice who who's self righteous, willing to do anything, even murder and truly believes that as a man of god he's actions will be forgiven because its for the "greater good".
