- Let's fix your iPhone verification code if you're not receiving it normally.
In this video, I walk you through steps you can take to make sure you get the verification code or OTP code that's sent to your iPhone or Android. You'll want to make sure do not disturb mode is turned off but also go into settings and adjust your message settings. The important one is to turn off filter unknown senders as this will automatically filter and remove the authentication code you receive. This will help get you back into the account you're trying to login to.

I see that your offer of further help was in fact disingenuous - given all of the people who have asked and not received it. So why don't you change your comment and stop misleading people? This is difficult enough for those with the problem - there are all kinds of serious life issues that hang in the balance when OTP codes are not received. You ought to respect that.

Not sure how these things got turned off (or on), but I reset all of them and it work fine now. Thank you! Was not able to access certain accounts for a minute

If it’s not working for you check your blocked contacts and unblock some of the shorter numbers

Hi, I have tried all of these in your video but it still doesn’t seem to be sending me a verification code! It’s for the Viber messaging application. Is there anything else I could try?
All those having problems receiving verification codes, in network settings switch your carrier to a different carrier, then back to your usual carrier. This apparently updates/resets messaging settings to your carriers current settings.

My wife had this problem with her iPhone 12. Put sim card into new phone and wouldn't send verification code. The way I fixed it was change the carrier to something else. In UK, changed it from Automatic to Vodafone. Came out of that to see that phone wasn't connected to a network. Then went back in and selected O2-UK, the carrier which she used. Apparently this resets to the current messaging settings. Came out. Did a switch to aeroplane mode, then aeroplane mode off again, went into line app and tried it. Voila, code came through. After this, went back in and reset carrier to automatic. Hope this helps someone.

The problem for me is that my verification codes don’t show up until a few hours later or some don’t even show at all (I have an iPhone 6)

OMG I GOT IT WORKING (2022/19/03)
HERES WHAT YOUS NEED TO DO:
1.Turn off and on your airplane mode
2.Go to settings and change your carrier to a different carrier, then change it back to your original carrier
3. Turn off and on iMessage
4. restart you phone
Now try again and you will 100% get it, I’ve tried every single thing and this worked and I was trying to get it work for last 2 days!!

Tried all of that but it still didn’t work. BUT…found out I had somehow turned on my AIRPLANE MODE and it was blocking my OTP text! Simple fix!

See my reply above. You need to change your network to a different network, then back again. Resets the phone company settings to the most recent settings.

Phones with a Home Button (Besides iPhone SE 2 I think) no longer have data support for T-Mobile/Sprint. (I’m not sure about Verizon, AT&T, and etc)

So be like username and gives option to put phone number or email instead. Later asks for phone number. But doing that it woudnt send the code. I checked my numbers all correct. Then it hit you need to wait 24 hours. Super annoying. But I try the app. All the same But skipped phone number. YES

I thought filter unknown sender you will still get it but in a separate list. If this were true I would never get a single spam message.
