I like to play this game solo and this is a great video to demonstrate. Keep up the good work!

Very light and quick, wonder how it will hold up to replayability? Thanks for the look, Joe.

I think there's enough variability built in due to the rolling for Japanese actions that this isn't going to be one where it's a "puzzle that can be solved" but as you said it is relatively light. The two-player version seems to be more robust and slightly more complex.

At 15:20 - when they don't attack at Point Cruz, for a "long range artillery" bombardment, the rules state that you roll the die and only on a 1 is it successful (p.10, 3rd paragraph under "3. Determine If The Japanese Attack").
You do not use the "Heavy Artillery" in their "Event" list, that is only for Action #6 ... nice playthrough

Played this 3 times and couldn't get past turn 4. Each time the Japanese artillery destroyed Henderson Field and the dice just wouldn't cooperate enough to do any repairs. Seems like an unbalanced design imho...and wasn't fun setting it up to replay after 2-3-4 turns. Ymmv...on the sell pile for me.

Yes, I can see that happening as dice can play a big role. I've had mostly positive luck but when things go bad, they go bad quickly.
