Thank you @beigemaster for pointing this out! The wall combo to get the ground throw is actually a 1 or 2 jab into ground throw, not both. So you would press 1 into DB1+3 or DB2+4. Pressing 2 into DB1+3 or DB2+4 will get you more damage!

I can't speak for OP, but most people use default control scheme for Tekken, as shown at the beginning of the video. With controller, its just as shown, for both PS5 and Xbox controllers style controllers. If you are using a stick or hitbox, directions should be self-explanatory, and attacks buttons usually go - TOP ROW: 1, 2, RB, LB // BOTTOM ROW - 3, 4, RT, LT. 1, 2 is left punch, right punch respectively. 3, 4 is left kick, right kick respectively. RB is Heat. LB is your toggle for easy inputs. I believe RT and LT are not bound by default, you can use these for any macros you deem necessary. I hope this helps!
@@liammaloney13 yeah, now i seem to be getting it consistently, but grab isnt blue for the extra damage. tbh i get blue grabs on giant swing, and tijuana twister, but i struggle getting blue grabs on powerbomb, even with ur method. kinda looks like a me problem, but will keep practicing, ty tho.
Did they change the wall combo again? In the CNT, 12 into ground throw dosn't work if they tech roll, you had to do 1 jab into ground throw. Be great if they buffed it since!
I’m having trouble getting the FFF2+4 wall grab to come out during wall stun, all I ever get is the regular airborne 2+4 grab. (Figured it out immediately after posting a comment but gonna leave this here for the algorithm)
I'm having trouble getting the U1+2 Combo 2 down. The U/F3+4 keeps whiffing for me, is the timing really tight? Edit: I got it, the d/f4,3 needs to be delayed slightly while holding forward

I'd say starting out for most big punishes you'll either be using the hopknee U/F4 or the crouching D/F2 for high risk lows and highs that you can crouch under :)
Some fun stuff is pressing 3 for a mid kick. If it lands normal hit you can press 1+2 as soon as it hits to slam them. If it counter hits, you get a launch! Pressing D4 will do the low drop kick and D3 will do a quick low poke You also have 2 unblockables by pressing 1+2 or 1+4 Enjoy! :)
I'm a king main, 2.5k ish hours on T7. Tekken 8 King is actually pretty top tier tbh. Kings weakness before was poor tracking, but now throws are homing so you can mix GS and iSW much more successfully. Throws on CH are free unless someone is lucky. The frames on ffn2 are dumb. +7 on hit, -13 on block. His heat smash is really really good - does basiclly everything - mid, hits from range 3, hits grounded, seems free in lots of oki position, and on block you get a 5 way mixup. His new armor moves are decent, u/f 3+4 being a power crush that also low crushes. For CH he still has df 2, and if you can CH confirm it its a 13 frame safe mid CH launcher. If you learn the isw combo it does decent damage. So he still has one of the best counter hit launchers in the game - losing magic 4 and b1 doesn't matter much - other characters also lost their magic 4, but unlike King probabily dont have a 13 frame mid CH tool.
Your notation sucks. You're missing a lot of pluses. Also, capital letters say to hold the input so none of this makes any sense. Example: B1,2 should be b+1,2

Something big to know. Every single power bomb ender can do more damage if you crouch dash into it since you get the fast input bonus

@empollone4192 powerbomb blue spark requires that you input the final f+2+4 in 6 frames or less after the second f. It's really tight

so ive been practicing king, and i noticed some of these combos do less damage now? like the first one only deals 48(23) instead of 61(32)
They should still do the same damage, I tested them just now to be sure :)

There’s also a severe nerf in burning knuckle. It doesn’t hit grounded. The only use I can think of is a tech roll setup at the wall.
Just found a different combo for DB2 with 1 higher total damage and MUCH easier execution
DB2 > DF4,3 > F3 > B1,2 > FFF2+4

Which also does 74, but is easier and auto-aligns when off axis
Using boomerang kick as a combo ender for df 2,1 is pretty sick 😅
