They have flips and tricks but if you watching on the details like hitting a freeze or being synchronous in routines you see why most of the judges voted for Flooriorz. Japan is also more creative in my opinion, its not all about athletic its bboying ;D Thats my opinion

It is probably the first year there is no Korea team show up in the final event. I highly doubt that it is BOTY that does not give KOREA Elimination. There maybe some other reason like Korea teams show no interest?

Nowadays, Japan has plenty of B-boys who enjoy power movements and styles together.
I haven't followed breakdancing in many years, but imo it looks like the individual talent is much lower with a much heavier focus on routines. The little i saw from power moves seemed a bit sloppy, feet dragging the ground and not much of flow when crossing over between moves.. but the team routines seem much more synchronised and "complete" compared to 15 years ago.

the floorriorz were maybe better single dancers , but the were just synchronised and boring and thats not the idea of breakdance. Melting force was just Lot more interesting , dynamic and were lot more fun to look at with their tricks .In every single round ,they had different choreographies and the floorriorz's choreographies were alwais a bit the same. So in my opinion, MF is the REAL winner of BOTY 2016!
Melting force were dope but their attitude sucks, breaking is not about having the best routine and flips it's an art after all. Congrats to both of them.
