But I think what's more cruel is bringing lives into the world only to subject them to abject poverty amd endless suffering. Maybe to make things fair, there should be an international law that says poor people can only have one child, and until they can develop the means to sponsor a larger family, it should be illegal to have more. This should lower the levels of poverty around the world. And yes, I know development depends on a large population...yada yada yada. Let them build machines then. 😂
Eugenics as a solution while ignoring the unnecessary class gaps that have plagued humanity since its inception is wild… the ruling class did a number on some people and it’s sad.
@zaireo73 I refuse to have you minimise my assertion to mere eugenics. I developed this opinion because I was raised by parents who had way too many children for their social bracket. Their is no justification for parents who insist on expanding their families when they know beyond reasonable doubt they can't afford to have them. It's selfish. Got nothing to do with race or improving the quality of the human genetic pool. While I'm willing to change my opinion if introduced to new data that's convincing, for now, I'll maintain my position - for the sake of preservation of the human race, let those who can't afford to have children have only one, until they can afford to have more.
