Sorry for the Confusion. It's the "Plantain fan" and not the Wind Tamer which you need to use. For armor, go with 4 piece golden armor set for generating Qi faster. Golden mask of fury,Golden Embroidered shirt, Golden Armguard, Golden Greaves. Highly suggest you to upgrade those as well near Yin Tiger secret area. For DRINKS, Use Sunset of the Nine skies (again for Qi generation). Soaks doesn't matter. Curious doesn't matter much. Go with cat eye beads for critical hit damage. Btw the relics doesn't matter much. You can go with damage or health build. For staff, use your highest damage staff.

Yeah! I used this tactic, maybe not exactly as on the guide, as I could not managed to refresh FAN so good as on guide, but managed to kill Erlang!!! It took me 15 tries or so... Than next phases with BIG monkey were exciting too! :D And this guide IMO will be valid all the time, and will not be patched! :D
I found that if you stay calm and are nimble enough, you can almost walk around his attacks, it felt like a dark souls boss where he was so big that sometimes if you stay close to him, he’ll swing right over you.
Yeah this is a pretty clean kill. It's probably the easiest method. My problem with spinning to gain the Qi back is I miss him ever other time it feels like and I do press forward. So, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

No that was definitely not my first play through... I too struggled a lotttt (played for like 4hrs before figuring out😂). After figuring out it seems pretty easy as you can see in the video. Just take your time and if you follow those correctly and a couple of timed Dodges, it will be done 😁😁
If i use wandering wight spirit 1 time I'll bot able to ise it 2 nd time in entire fight. And you are using it like 4-5time . Same thingh about platinum fan. Please help
Hi, ive analysed your Strategy so much and im about to try it! Seems so good. One Question tho, while the fan is hitting him, why dont u charge a 3 focus attack and instead go for normal hits? shouldnt the charged attack be a starter?
I copied all your build for the qi recharge focus. How the f are you able to recharge your qi during the immobilize spell. I only get to 75% before he breaks the spell out.
I have followed things as is but my Fan and WW does not reload as quick. Except for my Golden greaves (foot) everything else is maxed out. Is this the problem? The problem with this build is - if you dont do exactly like how you've showed - you are dead due to the lack of defense considering I have Wukongs armor ;P
Why is the duration of my immobilize so short... 😭 I have all the required stats (not sure what curious or any items you used to extend the duration of immobilize)
@@TheGamingEdit51115 figured it out :) You have to hit him with light attacks while the tornado hits him so your focus points would increase to 1 or 2 and then once you immobilize him, you have enough time to fill the focus points to 4 :)
When he is attacking you, then hit your heavy attack... DON'T GIVE UP. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THE NEXT STORY AFTER THE FIGHT..!!!! It's worth playing. Wait till he is attacking then hit him

If you equip the armour, it helps in Qi generation which is how the fan charges fast. Hold forward and staff spin, it recharges fast because you will be getting so many hitss. That's the main thing
When his shield is completely down, then you get 30-45 seconds to do the damage. Only then he gets his shield back.. UNLESS he is in a phase transformation

Yeah You can also use the transformation if he has shield and your fan is exhausted.

Yes the armour is fully upgraded. I suggest you try upgrading it too. Once try after upgrading your full set

Doesn’t work. He brings a new shield when his shield is 75% remaining the second time
