Yes I have played this several times, how many times have you played it? I know you can cancel a backdash, but the backdash at the start of the game doesn't go as far or fast as it goes here. You also need a specific item equipped to make it go this far. If the player was actually cancelling you'd see a frame of an attack or jump (whatever backdash is cancelled with) come out every now and again. Check before the player fights the boss of the monastery, it's not possible to dash like that in the game. Also looks like this is played on an emulator as some of the attacks seem sped up.
Nope, this isn't a tool-assisted speed-run. There's a TAS of the game up on RUclips, and it clears in 35 minutes (40 if you count the end scenes), whilst this one takes over 2 hours to finish. It's likely tool-assisted in that there's save-states being used to avoid the constant "GAME OVER" and reloading-save screens, which over time can easily accumulate when you're trying for a no-damage clear, especially in a game like Order of Ecclesia. But compare this to a real TAS and you'll see the differences are like night and day, and strongly suggests that the player who recorded this run did so live.
What a chad. Amazing playthrough
1:32:52 you got hit XD
nice run tho its one of my facourite games ;D

Sweet jeebus! Even if it may be TAS it's still crazy work! Awesome!
It's probably just TAP.
こんな早くバックキャンセル出来なくね

TAS.. Backslash doesn't behave like this in game
Have you even touched this game? You can cancel the backdash at any time with anything.

@@MrZangetsu468 I thought it's TAS too until I tried it myself. Backdash really can behave like this in game without specific equipment you mentioned.
