I appreciate the information! On Amazon, I got 72 Copic Ciao markers for 20$ more than the 72 Prismacolor marker set. What sold me was Copic Sketch/Ciao are refillable and you can get new nibs.

I have the Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, they're the only brand I own. I hear Ohuhu is pretty good compared to Copic. I actually want to try the Blick brand of alcohol markers, I hear they're surprisingly good for a store brand.
I'm not surprised Prismacolor markers are poorly designed. I have the full set of colored pencils and they are poorly made and the numbering system makes no sense.

Prismacolor markers and colored pencils great beginner tool, but once you gain knowledge on both the brand and alcohol markers/colored pencils in general, you begin to understand that the numbering system makes no sense whatsoever.
