I always enjoy seeing Ralph...an interesting character and very influential on the great artists you've been reacting to...i know you enjoy Ralph but wait until you see him without his sunnies...terrible eyes, poor bugger...i'm similar. That was in 1979. It was a rough month for Molly. Midnight Oil showed up late and we mucked about in the studio which caused staff stress. I explained the Midnight Oil incident, but RUclips deleted my comment. Richard Clapton also did the same thing, and Iggy Pop did his infamous performance on the show a couple of weeks earlier. Molly wasn't being a happy camper, and I don't think we made it easy for him. We wrote letters to Molly after his confrontation with Richard Clapton, and told him it was uncalled for, and that he was being appalling.

I told the story of how my friends, Gillian (my sister) and I decided to sneak away from studio 31 and explore the rest of the ABC building, only to be busted by security. They dragged us back to the studio, where we were told off by staff and then Molly had a meltdown as he found out other Countdown kids were doing the same thing. It was because Midnight Oil showed up late!

I did play it a while back 'cause I was curious after reading Jimmy's book. As I remember, the film and sound were shit on the video.
