That's the judgment most people should have. Now days most people on Instagram, esp anime artists, block for any or no reason. I hate being blocked by people I was being nice to & not knowing where things went wrong.

I hate what the block button has done. Yes it exists to get rid of trolls, bullies, stalkers, etc but people have gotten carried away with it & use it to block everyone. There's so many times where I've been blocked by people over tiny things that could have been talked out, or often by people I was getting along with just fine. People view a block as a restraining order & call you a harasser for contacting someone who's blocked you for any or no reason. I will just use an alt account to ask what went wrong & if we could talk things out but I just get the silent treatment & block. It is training people to never ever communicate, never ever forgive, discuss problems, or use anything diplomatic. The block button has spelled the end of diplomacy & reason. At least a restraining order takes effort, police involvement, judge signature, etc. Blocking over petty reasons is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I think there should be some kind of acceptable way to reach out to people on Instagram, Twitter who've blocked you without probable cause. Maybe make blocks temporary, make a feature where someone can request to be unblocked. It's just so depressing going through my Instagram DMS & seeing 'instagram user' on half the names, esp when our conversations were positive. What do you think could be a solution to the block culture that's taken over Instagram & social media?
