A big salute to the Indian army for saving this bear. And one gentleman was very particular that the bear doesn't get hurt while taking off the container from the bear's head. Seeing how many men it took to take the cub into their bunker, I would say rescue happened immediately. Indian Army personnel are always alert for the slightest disturbance and that bear dud cause lots of noise ramming the cannister against posts and fences.

This is by far the most difficult & dangerous wild animal rescue I have ever seen on video, mainly because of the dizzying altitude, steepness of the terrain and biting coldness of the environment.
