Both of my parents are big readers, so I guess I’m lucky. I actually didn’t even think about it until reading your comment, but I guess I’m lucky in a sense. They encouraged me to read from very early on, i was always read to as a child before bed and while all the other children hated library lessons - they were like a gift for me - an hour where I could read at school with nobody disturbing me? Win win!

Loved this video, you are so fortunate to have a dad who likes reading as much as you do. I am a bit older than you (42 years old), so probably closer to your dad's age. I shared my love of reading with my mom who passed from cancer in 2005, but I treasure the memories of the books that we enjoyed together. It really is a blessing to be able to share something you love with someone you love so much.
This made me smile so much, and I really needed that today. I adore your relationship with your dad and I desperately wish I had a similar friendship with mine. I hope he knows what an amazing job he's doing at the whole parenting thing 💙
